Great video-love watching your channel and your reviews. I have loved this foundation since it came out about a year ago! I found my perfect shade match-Soft Sand and have already repurchased it. OMG LOVE THE ULTRA ZOOMED IN VIEW!! So so so so helpful! I find this one can be a bit tricky for me...I have learned I need to be WELL moisturized and cannot powder. If I do that, I love it.

I'm glad you are loving the zoom! This is probably why I prefer setting my face with a hydrating mist after application. It just looks wayyy better on my skin when it is hydrated!

As a non base makeup lover I was almost tempted by the new covergirl foundation that trying to dupe Chanel BUT it’s $30 at Shoppers😳. The only foundation that has ever stayed in my drawer is a discontinued Bourjouis healthy mix serum gel… or MAC face and body. Great video quality

HAHA SOO im gunna go get it today and try it!!!!!!!!!! YAY!!!!!! AND i have SUPER SUPER oily skin, my HOLY GRAIL liquid foundation is the NARS SOFT MATTE, ive been using that for years wit NO issues ever!!! AND i also was a manager at Sephora for 7 years so i know what im talking bout when it comes to ANYTHING in the skincare and makeup industry!!!! I also own my own buisness Beauty By Brittany!!! SO THIS liquid and the RARE Beauty tinted Moistizer wit spf 20 IS REALLY AMAZING even for my oily skin, ive also used the CT Beautiful skin foundation wit no issues i just make sure to use a matte primer and then a FULL coverage concealer like the NARS RCC WHICH has been my holy grail for 10+ years!!!!! lol ive also REALLY liked the LOREAL Infatiable liquid foundation and that IS still SUPER popular still to this day!!! IVE ALSO found that using a powder foundation AFTER ive used concealer and SET it JUST the concealer parts, ill use the Patrick STARR POWDER foundation IS OMG AMAZING!!! I have like 10 of them bc ive used that for years as well and NEVER had any issues, The MAKEUP FOREVER POWDER foundation that they just reformulated, which made me FREAK out bc i thought they ruined it and it WAS such an amazing powder foundation a full one and GREAT for oily skin, BUT THEY MADE IT SOOOO MUCH BETTER!?!?!?! I WAS SHOOK lol THATS my #1 powder foundation ESP FOR OILY SKIN!!!!!!!!!!! I honestly could go on BUT lol this OBV IS NOT my channel lmao smh SO SORRY!!!!! BUT YEAH CHECK THEM OUT my oily skin gals & guys!!!!!!

We are very similar in shades. I use 3N1 in Estee Lauder Double Wear and 2.5N in Dior and Guerlain. I think I will go for 3C1 in this to get a little bit of the pink undertone. I also try to match my self tan (which is warm), but I naturally have light pink undertones as well.

my skin is really dry and I prefer a glowy foundation any other finish my skin looks dead even tho I've always looked after my skin but I am 56 now and my face needs help to look if it's got more radiance I use tretinoin which has helped no end I missed your original vid glad you posted this xx

Thank you so much! For eye primer, I only use concealer. This day I think I was using the Tower28 Serum Concealer as a base and the Kylie Cosmetics Matte Eyeshadow Palette for the eyeshadow!

I was the one who left the "slightly washed out" comment on the other video and I do stand by that... when I have the videos side by side, that one looks overexposed/lighter vs this. That said, this one looks great! How do you think this compares to the Haus foundation? Your base recommendations are always my favs too.

I appreciate the comments so I can tweak settings! Glad this one is good! Haus Labs wears better, but is thicker. This is much thinner and light weight, slightly more perfecting. For the wear I’d still go for Haus Labs!

I keep the ones that are newer that I’m still reviewing and I always have my Top 10. I typically do clear outs seasonally. I just did one over the holidays of all my makeup. Anything I’ve used that can’t be donated goes to family/friends. I’m terms of decisions, I look at my skin or the occasion and go from there lol

I don’t know what this means. There is zero filter or smoothing. Is this in reference to the slow motion clips? I slowed a couple down to see face texture longer.

​@@MakeupByCheryl Oh, you're one of the lucky ones who don't even notice it, but I don't mean a skin-texture smoothing filter; the technical term is "motion interpolation." Some people describe it as a sort of hyper-real motion blur, but I see it more as an unnaturally smooth effect. It's actually least noticeable during the slow motion clips, I guess because there isn't much motion between each frame. It's most noticeable to me whenever you blink. (I know what I sound like, but I swear I'm not making this up.) The best solution I've found is to play videos like this in the highest resolution possible to minimize the surreal quality.
