I am finding more and more why it is that your videos so resonate with me. We are very similar in our “ways”. I have a very beautiful rose gold Cricut Air 3 sitting atop my Kallax unit. I’ve had it a few years yet haven’t used it for about as long 😂 It sits, nearly new, collecting dust. I too don’t get along with theses machines. I find that I scrapbook for relaxation and a sort of therapy. I like that it’s a process but also love the simplicity of it. The Cricut is a learning curve for me, a too lengthy process every time I want to create something. Frustrating, it ruins my flow. I like an easy, stress free scrap session. Maybe one day the Cricut and I may become friends but for now it remains a decor piece.

Yes! 👏 That’s exactly my frustration with it too. I had nothing but trouble trying to get it to work and wasted so much time and energy on it that I didn’t want to scrapbook! I’d rather stick to simpler options that I can easily incorporate into my scrappy processes.

I take my left over white cardstock and cut out shapes then color them with my inks and shimmers.

The other great thing about the manual die cut machines is you can still use them if you have a power cut and obviously you wouldn’t be able to use an electronic one. Having a manual machine is just good planning right!?! Lol
