If you’re new here, let me introduce myself-I’m a hard-working, farm-loving, small-town Nebraska girl passionate about sharing my life, my work, and everything that goes into modern-day farming. Whether it’s fixing equipment, caring for livestock, running a business, or just embracing the chaos of farm life, I’m here to bring you along for the ride.
I started this channel to document my journey, educate people about farming, and inspire others with hard work, good humor, and a positive attitude. Farming is unpredictable, but one thing’s for sure-I’m always learning something new (and sometimes the hard way 😆).
Whether you're curious about farm life, technology and practices, or just want to see some big equipment in action, I'm so glad you're here! Don’t forget to like, comment, and subscribe for more behind-the-scenes insights into farming life!
Thank you to Nathan, my faithful video editor.
There are so many scams these days, be sure to visit laurafarms.com to see my REAL and ONLY social media accounts, check local weather, news, and markets, and stay up to date! I am not messaging anyone. I'm so sorry, but if you think you're messaging me privately, that is a scam: Don't fall for it!!!

You are a role model for young American entrepreneurs who should be emulated by all young people in America. You have a desire to succeed, as well as the patience and perseverance required to achieve your objectives. I believe the key to your success is "family:" It may sound simple, but you are an excellent example of what people can accomplish if they want to! Well done!

To those who may not know: a “quarter of ground” or more commonly called a “quarter section” is 160 acres. A section of land in the U.S. measures 1 mile x 1 mile and contains 640 acres. Therefore 640 divided into 4 quarters = 160. This would equal 64.75 Hectares.

I do love the fact of humor in farming , like when Grant does laugh at Laura when she wet at pivot, falling bean dust in her hair , and when she runs from mice. Laura gives looks like she is not amused but it is natural in every day farming operations, I enjoy watching the unknown in everyday operations

I grew up on a 60 acre centennial farm in Ohio and the oldest of 6. I left the farm 70 years ago but I do have my dad's first tractor, a 1939 JD H. I chuckle to myself when you talk about antique farm equipment that was made 10 years after I left the farm. I would say that you are lucky to be able to stay on the farm in this generation. Only one of my 33 high school classmates was able to stay on the farm. My family farm is now a part of a pair of brothers operation that have amassed over a 1000 acre in their endeavor. Time has certainly changed a lot in my lifetime and I enjoy following your adventures. Good luck.

Well, it isn't a favorite moment, but I want to send a thank you to you and your (young) team. I am near retirement from an Engineering career that spanned 4 decades and I started watching farm videos because I really like seeing the new technologies. I seem to watch both Laura Farms and The Millennial Farmer videos the most. My home is in a rural area, but I do not farm. My neighboring farms are much smaller than your operation (50 to 100 acres each). Until I started watching the KZbin Channels, I bought into the (incorrect) propaganda on TV about how unmotivated the younger generations are. Your Channels and other similar channels prove that as I head into retirement, the USA is in great hands with the younger generations. I would tell you good luck, but you don't need my luck. You, Grant and Gage make your own success because of how competent you are.

I first came to Laura's channel because it was so _different_ from everything else out there. Her beautiful smile and thoroughly happy voice was enchanting! As the weeks rolled on, I came to appreciate her intelligence and direct way of overcoming many obstacles, usually with determination. While her video edits are simple and straightforward, I never feel as though she has removed mistakes or otherwise distorted the overall image of her farming life. I am very happy to be a five year subscriber!

long time subscriber / first time commenter - Thank you for all the videos you make - it feels like a good friend has called whenever I see Laura Farms posted a new vlog. You and Grant are just sumpthin' else - that's all I can say, just wonderful... some of my favorite Laura Farms moments, not in any particular order of preference: - the time Laura introduced Yank'Em Ropes to the channel - Laura goes to the equipment shed, looks at the camera and says, "I don't know if you guys have met Grant, but he's stuck - again..." - hilarious - the time Grant was changing a tire and kept running the impact gun every time Laura tried to record her next piece about whatever they were doing... - when Laura was learning to drive the semi and turns to the camera and says she loves the sound of the Jake Brake - the time you were on a podcast at the Farm Show in Iowa (?) and the guy asked Grant what the "N" on his University of Nebraska t-shirt was for and without missing a beat, Grant says "Nawledge" - the time Grant talked about his Grandfather right after he had passed - I thought what an incredible guy he is and what a great family - when Laura talked about her Grandfather after he passed - also another moment to think how wonderful this young lady is and that her whole family is just the best - anytime that Laura's dad Cale is in their videos, or when Laura and Grant are in his LEAAD Farms videos - he is such a character and a great Dad - any/all videos when you are making improvements to your property and fixing stuff on the farm or taking a trip somewhere - always uplifting and makes us all happy for you and your future. May 2025 bring bumper crops for you :)

another winner....I didnt find you till about a year ago but have watched everything you have produced on u-tube and most of insta gram and facebook..i watch them over and over waiting on new ones 🤣 love the content and how it is presented.i have 3 grandchildren that live in Omaha , the oldest just turned 21 yesterday. i am hoping that our next trip out there will be during either husker harvest days or maybe the one in boone. also i might have a small bro-crush on grant, he and all his toys and farmer fixes. I was born and raised in nw Indiana in the middle of corn country. we didn't own any land but grew up working for area farmers. 806 gaser was my favorite tractor just in front of the 1206 diesel.. your channel takes me back and very thankful for the memories..thanks for what you do...for those of us that cant really enjoying watching those that can.

As a 4th generation farmer myself, about to take the reigns of 1/2 the family land after we laid my grandfather to rest. I have been here watching your content for a couple years. The reason I still watch this channel is because you present an authentic person, you have a fantastic attitude. As long as you keep being the genuine person you seem to be I’ll still be around. You guys farm different than we do 1000 miles south east of you, however much of the be a good person, and try and do the right thing remains consistent. You could do content on how each step of the process works as you have time and that might help some of your newer followers and people not familiar with farming just how impressive the technology we have today is, and how their food gets to the grocery stores. Keep going Laura, I wish you and Grant the best, I wish I had more neighbors like the two of you.

I live in the middle of a city in Wisconsin, though not far from farm country. Born and raised city boy, but always had great respect for our famers...as well as those all over. I think I came across your channel a few years ago. I watched here and there, but more over the last year. I also watch Clarkson's Farm on Prime Video. Between you and that show, I've learned even more respect for what you all do. Thank you for giving those of us who never lived that life a chance to see so many aspects of how you farmers go about growing and/or raising our foods. I enjoy learning about many things that I would never, or could never, do myself. Cheers to everything you've accomplished, and hope you have continued success with it all. Thank you for sharing all you farmers do for us!

You are the model of a young American entrepreneur that should be replicated throughout all of the young in America. You have a passion, you have a want to, you have the patience, and persistence to reach your goals. I believe the key to your success is "FAMILY:" Sound simple but you are a great example of what people can do if they want to! Well done!!

Thank you for saying this. My advice to everyone is this : if you want to grow big this year especially in your finances. Be willing to make investments. Saving is great but investing puts you on a pedestal where you wouldnt have to worry about savings as you do now. Thanks to larysa Caba, my portolio is doing really great and im proud of the decisions i made last year.

I feel one Of the greatest challenges that we first timers face in the ma rket is that we end up losing all we have, making it difficult to find ourselves back to our feet. My biggest advice is to always seek the services of a professional just like I did when I ventured into it for the first time. Big thanks to Larysa Caba. I now make huge profits by weekly through her services while still learning to stand on my own.

I gotta say pivot repairs are my favorite .. probably not yours but seeing all the mechanical parts, and the engine pump and piping is fascinating. Having cows on the farm would be a cool addition if it works money-wise I think there's alot of things I don't even know about that

Favorite moments welll, everything. Y'all's journey as a young couple build a farming business is wonderful to follow along and be a part of your journey, watching y'all growing and learning. Watching y'all working and growing your farm brings back memories of my younger years growing up on the farm. Sadly, due to the death of my Father and life's twist and turns, I wasn't able to continue the farming journey I was hoping for also. Yes, a few times I was able to get back into farming some, unfortunately when you lease land and the owner decides to sell, not much you can do about it. But KZbinrs like y'all and others allow me to at least watch, follow, and reminence the good ole days and also be proud there are young people out there that is willing to carryon the traditions of farming. Especially, when you use the old equipment, which I can relate to. The new equipment, some which I operated, made me feel like I was in a space ship...LOL....and totally out of element. Like y'all using autodrive, back in the day, we planted our 100 acre bottom land in corn mostly, and wheat, but it was laid out by putting a white buck on a fence post at the center and end of the field and driving straight (as possible) to it. Also doing farming in my real younger years with horse drawn equipment and by hand. So, keep it up and I'll enjoy the adventures as a spectator as long as I on this Earth. God Bless.

I have managed to get through maybe 1/3 of your older videos, so I thought I had a pretty good idea of how good a business woman you are. After watching this video I have at least twice the respect for you than before. You have accomplished more by 23 than most people twice your age. I was amazed the FSA lent you $100K at 18 so you must have really impressed them. I hope you and Grant live long and prosper (yes, Star Trek reference).

Laura, you mentioned thinking about cows again. A while back, maybe last winter you put forth the idea of raising and shipping Laura Farms Nebraska Beef or similar name, all over the country (like Good Rancher and others do). I LOVE that idea and hope you and Grant will jump on it. Hire a couple of young, responsible types (similar to Gage), and let them learn the business by helping you manage it. Oh, and a dog or two. Pepper is sweet, and she needs a dog friend. Where will you be five years from now? You will only be 28, which is still incredibly, unbelievably young from the perspective of many of us. I'm grateful the winter season allows you some time for introspection. Your viewers learn so much from videos like this one. I am one of those who look forward to taking a break to watch your KZbin videos. God bless you!

What keeps me coming back and looking forward to more of your videos is your ability to show and tell about corn and soybean farming in our part of the world. I so enjoy your same excitement I had when I started farming; and I want you to know how great it is to watch someone that expresses so well that same feeling. The sound of the, hydraulic, blower motors on the planter in your first videos was so familiar; and I can so easily imagine the smells as you post though out the year like dirt, diesel exhaust, the crushed corn stalks and the corn when you start shelling corn and on and on. Thank you for expressing so well what I feel. Sure miss farming with my wife.
