I'm retired now but did work with te county mosquito control spraying for "skeeters" at night. One of the things that I really enjoyed was the smell of maturing corn in the fields. That smell stays with me to this day.

I must say Laura & family stay busy and I'm now sharing her page / videos with my friends (+friends teenage kids)hoping they follow because this young lady is a Positive, hard working and entertaining...I could go on but bottom line is America needs more like her being seen as there's so much negative,nastiness pushed into young people's lives. Laura Farms ! 100%America needs more like her!

8:09 Should a put that 4K on a pallet (work smarter, not harder) As a side note, I saw Welker Farms pay $600/ bag for Canola seed/ 30K for a single pallet ! Nice job calling Dad on the boom; so many young people just push all the buttons and break stuff. Humility is one of your best qualities, learning about the Farm process. Keep it up.
@patklemmensen16943 жыл бұрын
good on ya for being able to unfold the sprayer, and knowing when to ask for help ("what's this button do?" can have a costly answer, esp when the button controls 5000 psi of hydraulic pressure!)... chemical jugs don't come with a 'reverse' gear, if your pickup has one USE IT (your spine will thank you later)... the purchase price for your chemicals might seem like a lot, but per plant it's not much - and the return usually justifies the cost (farm boy here, my fam farmed 8 quarters of land in Alberta, Canada)...

Laura, I'm pretty sure that you are one of those people that if you put your mind to it you can do anything you want. Also along with taking care of your back, refrain from jumping off the last step of the equipment. I used to do it and have had to have both of my hips replaced because of it.

If you run the tiller over the grass and quackgrass without having dug it up first, you will have 100 times more on this land afterwards! You can also treat it chemically like you do in your fields, but then you destroy your environment! But otherwise your videos are informative and very well done! And you are such a nice girl! Hello from Alsace, France!

Got me hooked on farm life, where do I sign up?. Yall definitely have my respect and I'll be sure to ask for special blessings from the Big Guy who owns it all and let's us be the overseer... As Laura rises with the dawn, and drink in the morning. She tastes the goodness of your creation and smell the crispness of new beginnings. She senses you beside her, the good shepherd watching over her as she cares for the farm. She whistles a tune of praise as she goes about her work. She feels blessed to walk in the long lived rhythms of sowing, feeding and reaping. Fill her anew today Lord with your Spirit. Give her strength and health when she feels tired or weary. She releases her anxious thoughts to you, Knowing that you hear her prayers. Please bless Laura farms, her home, her family. Please bless the work of her hands. Please remind her each morning to give thanks to you anew for all you have blessed her with. Amen...
