Ive been a dental assistant for 5 years and I feel I could be a great manager but I need some tips because I don’t know to approach my doctor in order to offer myself for the position and also I need to learn few more things about this job

I feel doctors should hold their office managers accountable for their unprofessional actions instead of looking at their bottom line.

Office manager of a dental office = high-pressure salesperson for people who need help :( "Talking a crazy person off a ledge?" Most office managers lack the empathy to do that. They are just in it for their pockets.

I am sorry that you feel that way because in my opinion, that is not true. Dental office managers are in a position to help you keep your teeth for life and if they are persistent, it is because they care. And honestly, they don't make a penny more if you decide to do the treatment or not.
