Mrs Vitale I've been with you for nearly 10yrs I stumbled upon your channel to figure out how to make beef stew. My family made fun of me (even my 3yrs old at the time) relentlessly because I was such a terrible cook. I tried so hard but nothing ever came out right. Fast foreward to now. I'm asked to cook for my family holidays. Middle child of seven kids. That's a pretty impressive honor conscidering where I started. I owe it all to you! You gave me the confidence to try out new recipes. Ones my family stands by to this day. I make dozens of your recipes and WELL! We have your shredded italian beef for New Years Day every year. My daughters favourite food. She has called it all the years Italian Wedding Sandwiches. At that time your Italian Wedding Soup was my life. And still is. I have 2 quarts in the freezer at all times. We love you. I adore you! Whenever your older intro of "Hi guys, I'm Laura Vitale" would be heard my entire house would echo it back. Cause moms watching Laura again lol🤍 Thanks for all you have given me Confidence in the kitchen and my happy place! Fort Saskatchewan, Ab🇨🇦

I'm from Toronto, Canada and I've probably been following you on KZbin since before the other social media outlets even existed. Over 15 maybe even 20 yrs (I've lost count lol). The very first recipe I made from you from back in the day started with something super easy and they were butter cookies. They were SEN-SA-TIONAL! 😅 But the one recipe my family asks for at every single holiday gathering is by far the tirimisu. I make it at least 4-5 times a year and everytime I do it's a hit. In our culture when someone praises you for your food and if it was taught by someone else, you're always supposed to say a small prayer for them so Laura, know that you're prayed for alot around here! You have brought people all over the world together for so many years over food and food is love. ❤❤❤❤

Laura, I’ve been watching you since I was 14 years old and I’m 30 now cooking for my own family! You taught me EVERYTHING. I can’t thank you enough. Not just recipes to use but you taught me techniques and how much salt to use, etc. Your videos are gold. I would pay for these videos!! I’ve been a member on your membership channel since it became available and love those too! A recipe I make for my family ALOT is your simple chicken quesadillas. My kids love them. Serve with some sour cream to dip and some tortilla chips and salsa. It’s something I can whip up quickly and has protein, veg, carb. Delish!!! Love you so much Laura!!!!

Hello from India! I've been watching you since I was 17 (I turn 28 tomorrow!) and you have taught me EVERYTHING I know about food to the point where during Covid, I was running a little food business to provide homecooked meals to people who could not make food on their own and did not have any help. Also my family finds this very funny but I make better Italian food than Indian because of the influence your channel has had on me. Lots and lots of love to you and your family and thank you for all the wonderful content over the years ♥

I live in WA, USA and am originally from Vietnam. I have been watching you since I studied abroad in the States, so from 17 to 30 now. I love your channel and I am pretty sure my whole family knows about it. Not only I love your recipes, but also my family does. I also share your recipes with my family and friends due to the easy comprehension and the simplification you make so everyone can follow. Among all your wonderful recipes, the recipe that I like the most is beef Wellington. Thanks to you, we do not need to go to expensive restaurants to enjoy the dish. I had tried other recipes, but they do require a lot of techniques and efforts. The way you break down the recipe as well as your detailed instruction makes my life easier. When I made the dish on Valentines, my husband fell in love with it and he devoured half of the beef :))))

I've been watching you from New York since I was 16! The one recipe of yours that my husband and his family look forward to every year is your honey glazed ham! I didn’t grow up eating ham, but when I got married and was tasked with making a ham for my first Thanksgiving, I used your recipe. For two kids who didn’t even know how to pick a ham or how to properly place it in the baking dish, your recipe and video made it so stress-free. Last year, I didn’t host Thanksgiving, and I still hear to this day how we're never not hosting again because the ham was so missed. We met a few years ago in Disney, and we chatted about how you really helped me learn to cook! You’re the sweetest and so beautiful!

Hi Laura, I've been watching since the beginning. At the time, you were an enthusiastic, new bride, tripping over your words in the most adorable fashion because of your excitement and love of food! You've become more polished over the years, but that same beauty, spirit and passion still shines out from you. I am watching from the wilds of the Pacific Northwest. So many recipes have become favorites, but one recipe we look forward to enjoying every year, is your fried zucchini blossoms - wow, what a treat! It's also such a joy to see your family in your videos at times. Take good care and thank you for being a delightful part of so many lives, including ours.

Ciao Laura i’m from illinois and have been watching your videos since the beginning! i originally started watching due to having so much in common with you! my father grew up in Palermo , got married to my mother who grew up in rome and then they moved to the states from Sicily to start a family and open up a pizza place when they were 18. i worked in the pizza place growing up and i loved that you incorporate both italian and american recipes but love the most that you have such a good relationship with your nonna. it reminds me of my relationship with my nonnina on my mother’s side. i love that you can speak both languages because i always found it hard growing up to find people like me who spoke Sicilian and English! my special thing to cook is (now don’t laugh) pastina. yes very simple but reminds of being a young girl with my nonnina when she would make it for me when i wasn’t feeling well and it always to me is a meal to make someone you love feel better. more of a nostalgic feeling i guess. ❤

I'm writing from sunny and beautiful Surprise, Arizona where we don't even ovens to cook. We just take our foods outside in the middle of summer and let the heat do the rest! lol The recipe that is my go-to for impressing anyone is, let's be honest, most everything I cook because I make a lot of your recipes and have been perfecting my own recipes for 50+ years...but the one that gets requested most often is your creamy chicken and rice (the one your little Mia will eat even though she's the pickiest kid on the actual planet) lol. Simple, easy, delicious and every time I make it, it's gone in an instant! I make it a minimum of twice a month. The additions I usually put in is mushrooms, peas and fresh chopped scallions. Divine!

Hey Laura, so I've been tuning into your KZbin series for about 10+ years, from Mississauga, Ontario in Canada. I learnt about your channel from my cousin who lives in Trinidad. She introduced me to your channel at a time where I was struggling. Therefore, your videos became a form of therapy for me. I come from a Trinidadian background (like Nicki Minaj lol), but found my culture's food too time consuming . I married my "University Sweetheart", who is of Middle Eastern descent. I learnt his late mother's recipe for stuffed Zucchini. It was then that I learnt to make time consuming recipes. Lol But everytime I make it, it's an absolute hit! It's worth every moment making it, and every bite savouring it. Cheers!

We've made gnocchi from scratch, he's made Oyakodon for me when I wasn't well, we bought the real deal olive oil while in Italy and learned to look for quality, store bought pasta and bought cheese back and made multiple dishes w them - pesto, red sauce etc. We've also explored making desserts only with an airfryer on hands - lava cake, carrot cake. All these to say is that, your videos have came in handy all these while because I've created a good foundation of skills and understanding of ingredients from watching you! So even if I don't win this signed copy of your cook book, I'm thankful that you have always been a part of my cooking journey! Cheers Laura and online family!

Hi Laura!! I am from Toronto. I probably fell in love with your ravioli. I make it every time I have a potluck and every time it is a hit. I've gotten so many requests to make it. Thank you so much for teaching me how to cook. I've probably been watching you since 2011-2012. I admire how much your channel has grown over the years. You are wonderful

Hi Laura! I am watching from Nebraska, USA. The one recipe I know I can always make is my special black beans. Every time I make them, I always get compliments from my family, especially my older sister. She absolutely loves them. The key ingredient when I make them is adding vinegar and cumin. Makes it earthy and tangy, super good! Plus, it's what I grew up eating and I was always in the kitchen when my mom made it, so she taught me how to make them and then I made it my own when I grew up. Add some rice and chicken to it and it's a whole complete meal. Delicious!!!

Laura....girl! I've been watching since your first kitchen in your old house! The little burner on the counter, all the shelving over in the corner with all your "stuff". Changing the flowers in the "window" with the seasons. So many recipes of yours I've tried from your website and first cookbook (with the boilerplate). I'll never forget making your pastiera for Easter after hunting down the Grana Cotto! Loved it and still make it when I can find the grana. All long before Mia Valentina came along! ❤ I'm still here north of you in New Hampshire lovin every video!

Hi Laura! I'm watching from Montreal, Canada. I am so thrilled to read all the beautiful comments from your fans. It is absolutely amazing! I love your recipes with all my heart. I have followed your channel on KZbin for 10 years! The same amount of time I've lived in Canada since I emigrated alone from Cuba, and I've learned almost everything I know now in the art of cooking thanks to you. My mum used to tell me to come watch and cook together with her so I learn and wouldn't starve in Canada, lol, to which I used to reply:" its ok mum, I will find a way", and I did, I found you! Always been a fan of italian cuisine, who isn't? One of my favorite disches is cheesy potato and broccoli soup. Yummy, specially on those chili days ❤ Thank you so much for all these years of delicious recipies accompanied by so much love and charisma ❤

Hi, watching/following from Frederick, MD since you started making videos in your old kitchen! One of the first recipes I tried was Linguine w/ Spicy Shrimp Al Diavlo (Diablo) and my husband LOVED it! Another favorite that I make routinely is your spaghetti with fresh cherry tomato marinara from 12 yrs ago. Another family fav are the oven roasted potatoes using your original semi cook in microwave - place in ziplock with olive oil+rosemary+garlic+salt - dump into heated cast iron skillet method. Many more of your recipes (too many to list) are on my monthly rotation and they never disappoint. Your videos have turned me into a great cook! It has been a joy watching you evolve through the kitchen transformations, new recipes, and your family videos. Keep them coming and thanks!

Hey Laura! I'm watching from a tiny island where it's summer all year round - Singapore! I've been watching your channel for over 15 years now and the one dish that I love making for my family and loved ones, that I've learned from you, is your ham and mushroom pennette. I can't get pennette where I'm from, so I've used macaroni, fusilli, whatever is on hand. I've been making it for over a decade now, it's now my family's comfort food. Thank you for sharing all these easy and delicious recipes! *Just checked the recipe, it was from 12 years ago. GOSH!*

I originally watched you on a show where you and another chef would improve a recipe. I can't remember the name. I have been watching you on youtube for several years and have your first cookbook. Your recipes have never failed me. Your pantry focaccia got me back to bread making as your recipes for bread are so easy and foolproof. One recipe I make regularly for me and my husband is your Rigatoni with Sun Dried Tomatoes and Burrata. This was the first time I had heard of Burrata and we are hooked. This recipe is so simple and delicious. I have made if for friends also. Always a hit. Keep the delicious food coming!!
