Came in just as I was thinking I should freeze prep some foods. When I make eggs for the English muffins and croissants, I use bell pepper slices to keep them round. So I slice them up (about an inch and a half) on, put them on the pan and then drop the egg inside the ring. And you don't have to buy kitchen gadgets for round eggs 😄 Provided it only works if you like bell peppers.

I was a soux chef for a famous philanthropist and while the family, just Mr. and Mrs. at that point, ate very light, just fruit and cream of rice, we cooked for the staff of 12 each morning and each dinner which was at 4pm. I hated having to wash the cookie pans that we ovened the bacon in. I never thought about using parchment under the bacon. Still have to get the greese off but thise nasty little burned on bits where a nightmare. Now I'm retired and i dont eat breakfast because i dont have to get up and out of the house by 4:30 am. Hubby does breakfast for himself, early riser. I watched your dinner prep as well. Your sister is so lucky having a thoughtful sister like yourself. My babies are all in their 40's now, but when they were born I didn't have any help at all. 3 of my babies were born in 3.5 years and i was always tired. I wish i could have premade meals back in the day. Also, i never had a dishwasher. I'M the dishwasher, still am. It's ok. Could never get a DW to get my dishes clean enough for my liking. Looking forward to learning more from you, Comin' atcha from Palm Springs CA, where our summer garden gets planted in the fall when it's cool out. Summer just is to brutal.

Cook your bacon on the convection setting. This will “even out” the cooking and you won’t have to rotate the pans. Also, if you are going to break the yoke on croissant eggs, do it when you first start cooking them. That way the yoke taste will spread out and you would get a more even yoke taste throughout the egg. Just some suggestions. I really enjoy your videos. Not sure why, but they bring a calming effect to my day.

Hello Becky, may I make a suggestion on the breakfast burritos? Heating the tortillas will make them easier to roll and more delicious to eat. Imagine if they are already your favorite. Toasted tortillas are soooo good!

She's freezer prepping, they get heated when it's time to eat them!!!!!
@melaniecalderon89738 ай бұрын
@@erinjh89 that's true, I guess I was thinking because everything inside them is already cooked. But ya you're right, as long as they get toasted before eating, they'll be delicious 🤤

Thank you so much for creating these recipes and resources. My husband and I have brain injuries that make planning ,shopping,preparing extremely difficult if not impossible. We resort to past ( before 2016) when my husband had his brain injury. Of which is limited because of memory issues. Before he could whip up meals, being in firefighter for 37 years, in no time. But now we have your scratch recipes w shopping lists , labels, 🎉and your utube videos to greatly help prepare healthy new food options. Thank you so very much. If at all possible we love your channel even more👏😀

Wow! So inspiring! I will refrain from commenting on every video but since this is only my 2nd time watching (i watched out of order because in this vid, you talk about the chocolate chip muffies for your nieces, which you made in the 1st video I watched). Anyway, so thrilled to "meet" you! You have a warm and welcoming personality and I'm enjoying spending time in your lovely kitchen!

We Like to toast our breakfast burritos in a pan to give them a little crunch. Yummy!

Hi Becky! You are hands down my favorite person to watch. I LOVE when you cook with your mom. You are very inspiring and have encouraged me to try so many new things. (Canning, cold stratification, new garden beds, buying and preserving bulk items when in season, etc) I own a daycare and the kids ask for Ms. Rachel nonstop. I say noooooo!!! Ms. Becky!!

I love to watch you cook & garden! Even tho I've been cooking and gardening for many many years, I'm still newly inspired by many things you do! Here's a hint for breakfast sandwiches using English Muffins: Beat the eggs and put them in silicone egg pans, add shredded cheese and bake (about 10 minutes) ! Layer them with Canadian Bacon rounds and VOILA! Breakfast sandwiches made easy and everything is round and fits perfectly!!

Love your videos! And I blabber when I get tired, too! lol! We’re getting things out of our storage unit, and I’ve been going through them, as well as reorganizing my sewing room, so I’ve been blabbering for several days. 😂. (And I had a lot of fabric in tubs-like nine- in my sewing room that I reorganized. I’ve been accused of being a fabric hoarder, but I prefer the term “Collector of Fine Textiles”.)

I like the collector of fine textiles. I too have several tubs of fabric. Keep telling myself that eventually, I will make things such as a quilt.😊😊😊
