Make this!! It was so easy and incredibly delicious. I used dark chocolate instead of semi-sweet because I had it on hand and it was the perfect combination. Not too sweet. Thanks, Laura! All of your recipes are amazing.

I made these yesterday but my caramel came out too hard/chewy. I may have cooked the caramel for too long. How do we know when to stop cooking the caramel before it turns too chewy cause when I stopped, it wasn’t as thick as yours but it still harden 😕 Apart from the caramel, the shortbread was awesome, with the chocolate and sea salt 🤤

yes, otherwise the caramel will run out and chocolate will run out. the pans a similar sq size just different shape.
