Totally forgot to mention this (I had chocolate on the brain) but I placed my brownies in the fridge for about 25 minutes because that makes the brownies cold and dense which is amazing!!!!! Try it, you will go insane over it I promise!!! :)

If they did it would be a piece of bread painted brown. About 99.99% of the stuff the give us is processed anyway might as well give us the bread.

20 minutes after watching this video, I was at Target buying all the ingredients lol. I made a tray that disappeared by the end of the night and my Hubby asked me to make them again yesterday. They were clearly a huge hit. This is literally the EASIEST recipe ever. Thanks Laura!! Next time I'm going to put some sliced almonds on top of the glaze before it sets. I think a little added crunch would be yummy.

I always use a little bit of cinnamon instead of the espresso powder because my mum hates coffee and she can detect even the slightest amount (no joke i put 4 granules in and she told me she could taste it). As always amazing recipe Laura!

Hi Laura I've been following you since 2012 and I really liked your recipes because it's so simple and the ingridients are not that hard to find here in the Philippines, though most of the cheeses that you use are quite expensive here. I would use a substitute though and it's very delicious and i wonder what if i would use the same exact ingredients it would taste and feel like cooking in your gorgeos kitchen. I use a double boiler when I melt chocolate (the glass dish on top of sauce pan with some simmering water). It makes the chocolate less likely to burn, but most importantly, I get one less chocolate covered dish to clean.
