Teddy’s little helmet did make me giggle :) I was so protective with my first born, but by the time the second one came I saw how resilient children are with their scrapes, cuts, and bruises. God bless all second born children, they’re 100% the toughest kids out here!

Your London adventures looked so interesting, thank you for taking us along. Glad Ollie’s eye surgery came out so well. BTW - you mentioned Teddy starting to climb… I bought a wonderful Montessori climbing structure for my grand babies. They learn so much about their balance and how to control it. They go through that climbing stage and channeling this phase safely really supports their gross motor development. I highly recommend (& you can get a slide attachment). A Gram from MO.❤

My goodness, Teddy is adorable! What a smiley boy. I'm glad Ollie's procedure went well, it's going to be odd for awhile seeing without glasses though. Some day I'll get to London and likely won't want to leave either.

Many years ago I have an injection into my eardrum to treat a thing called menieres deceasend had to lay flat and still for 3 hours afterwards. I get why Oli struggled after his surgery.

My husband just got his eye LASIK surgery 2 days ago and I said the same thing when I saw that paragraph!! I could never 😅 I was so worried he was going to come out and it would have gone all wrong. He definitely wasn't back to normal the next day tho lol.

I used to live in London near NH not affordable anymore for 20 yrs. I would never do a canal boat either. I would prefer one floor arrangement of a flat or bungalow. Not that your home isn't do able just too many stairs for someone like me. But you do have more space than most people I know have currently. Glad you had some fun in London it's hard to say whether it's really a family oriented city anymore.

I also loved living in London, and would jump at the chance to live there again, lol. I had lasik years ago, and it was the best thing I ever did for myself. Not having to wear glasses anymore is life-changing, tho I felt foolish for awhile, trying to get used to the weirdness of not having to adjust my eyeglasses anymore when I made certain facial expressions😂. Love, love, love the visit to the museum, it was so beautiful! Thanks for taking us along.

Did Ollie have his eyes lazered or did he have lens replacements? Am really interested as I'm going to have lens replacements next year. My brother and a good friend have had it done and they said its great as they don't have to wear glasses at all anymore and my friend was quite blind as a teenager, but is the only one of us now that doesn't need glasses to read the menu when we go out for dinner. We're all in our early 60's now.

I would be surprised if it wasn’t Focus clinics, it’s the highest rated laser eye clinic in London and David the surgeon has done every celebrity. See the google reviews. I was recommended and had mine done 2 years ago. It’s game changing. They have 100% success rate, and won’t take you on if you are not suitable.
