The trust taking out life insurance on the members is brilliant! I've never even thought about that. Essentially, if a family without generational wealth could afford to take term policies out and designate a family trust as the beneficiary, they could in theory start from $0 and build up family wealth in 1 generation. Without starting with a huge lump sum of money! Thanks so much for sharing this info. I want to do so much research on the topic now.

Yeah that was very clever, I was thinking the whole time what if someone mismanaged the money but when she the life insurance I was like wow thats brilliant

I think she said the life insurance policy needs to be a whole life insurance policy. Term life is a policy that one pays very little each month, but it is gone if you stop paying. Whole life has a long term value with a DB. I have to watch again to see what she said. I just can't imagine anyone with wealth ever having a a simple, no interest paying policy, but I could be wrong. Gonna watch it again. Laura makes great videos!

My question is. What would be the best way to fund the bank? Is it a monthly fee per family member, or they just pay interest of the loans they take? Also, when they get their whole life insurance policy, do they pay their premiums to the company or to the family bank? Or does the family bank have to own the policy on the members and receive the premiums from them?

First came across this concept by looking at the Rothchilds. Can take years to generate significant wealth but it works. All families should have their own bank/trust. I would recommend having reserves of gold and silver to protect against currency inflation. Mike Maloney's series shows the true value of cash. There are very few companies, such as Edelweiss Holdings, who share a long-term wealth building approach. Nice video.

This is so interesting, I’ve never considered how much my family could prosper if we could enforce a system like this. It remains a shame however that this could never happen due to never being able to convince certain family members. That being said, I guess the question is how on earth would you convince them that this simple system would be so beneficial IF we could implement it!?
@cratelab4 жыл бұрын
I was thinking the same thing and then I realized: one can only worry about self. So build your empire, start with your immediate family and prosper.

@@darkpassenger7172 Yep. Quick story: Years ago, I suggested to my inlaws that we should consider an endeavor together that would ensure us a collective financial gain, along with other benefits. They all looked at me like I was crazy... accept my father in-law (the successful business owner). He looked at me and smirked. He knew I got it while everyone else wanted to follow what they had been told. Sometimes you have to lead blindly into the darkness to find the light that others would not dare seek. Good luck and be well.

The strategy can work wonderfully IF structured and funded properly. If not it will be a disaster. Do your homework and MAKE sure you are working with someone that have been structuring these for a number of years. Life insurance can pay BIG commissions. Just remember the higher the death benefit the higher the commission.
