Hi Laura. I just discovered your youtube channel. I can't wait to explore more videos. One piece of advice I would like to offer is when editing your videos on a multi-cam clip try to use the same audio source even when switching to a different camera. I don't know what editing software you are using but most allow you to detach the audio clip and use it for every camera angle. This isn't a major issue, just a way to improve your videos. I hope you don't mind me offering this advice.

This is really nice 👍 Some of these I already do, but I usually cook for the entire week (which makes eating a little boring if I'm being honest, but saves me time...). One thing I've learned is to not throw away the waste (even the onion and garlic peels). Just throw everything into a pan with some olive oil, stir it for a bit to get the flavour going and add water. It'll make a wonderful veggie broth that you can use for example to cook rice or mke soup or add to whatever you're cooking instead of water. 😁

I do care a lot of all our plastic usage.. and I think you too.. I‘ve changed from plastic zipplocks to glas containers a while ago... For spinach and all the greens I just put a paper towel under it (to get rid of that extra water over the days)... and I‘m super happy! Glas containers and jars is a perfect/better alternative for all the plastic bags! Love your videos!! 💜

Love this! Makes it so much easier! I also do this with meats (a lot of pre-cooked, ready-to-go bags). I recommend the FoodSaver. I don't know what I'd do without it! Ziplocks are abundant in our house too! (And I do wish we could find ones that are better for the environment.) My only nitpick is LABELS! Label (what it is) (or even what it's intended for - since we preplan meals as often as possible) & date everything when packed. It's just a good way to know how long something's been in your fridge or freezer. It's a good habit to have! ✌ + 🧡 (Orange heart for orange fingers! 😘)

When I store my food, I use the flat 25 oz Glad food storage containers. They're stack-able, easy to wash, reusable, and easy to store when not in use. I can have up to 15 containers stacked in my fridge in the beginning of the week. Takes up less surface area than Ziploc bags.

If you want to make sure the spinach leaves are dried properly (not dried out) simply cover your counter or table with paper towels and spread the spinach leaves on top. You can pat dry from above.Or you can cover the leaves with an equal amount of paper towels. Setting time will vary. Just check every 1/2 hour. If your leaves are too wet you may have change the towels a few times.
