@carolgallaher7685 Thank you, I still have 65 more lbs to go, but for me, it's completely about never being diabetic again. I'm in no rush, I'm keto/carnivore for life! 💞 But I will implement more meat, I haven't been eating near enough... the things we learn. Accurate knowledge is definitely powerful and motivational! 💝

@Rainbow butterflies-rm6ww I have a question how many grams of meat are you eating a day I am So confused!
@RainbowsButterflies-rm6ww3 ай бұрын
@purplecat248 honestly, I've never kept track. I'm still on my journey with what works for me individually. I typically eat 2 meals a day on the weekends, 4 strips bacon, 1 ribeye steak, and 1-2 hamburger patties. During the week I eat 1 meal between 4pm and 6pm, usually 1 or 2 ribeye steaks, OR, 1 ribeye steak and 2-3 hamburgers, maybe 1or 2 bacon strips. I add butter and allow myself a very small amount of sour cream. I usually eat till I'm full and if I'm hungry anytime of the day, which isn't often, I'll have water, sometimes 1/2 a packet of LMNT in 16 oz water and I'm surprised how often I was thirsty, not hungry but if I am hungry, I'll eat hamburger patties, or steak. I prefer the fatty the best, but I'll eat any kind of steak that I can get on sale or mark down as the crock pot can soften it up wonderfully. I don't do snacks. I hope this helps, sorry I don't know weights of the meat I eat. I can put away a 16oz steak and still want another one on occasion.

I don't feel deprived I don't have any cravings this is such a blessing as I was allways doing the normal diet Now I fee normal for the first time in almost 40 years! Still 40 pounds to go but I'm super hopeful!! Bless you!

You always exude so much positive energy! You also always provide a lot of great information. My wife and I started carnivore Jan 1st of this year. Great weight loss and feeling SO much better. Aches and pains that we had come to think were just the way it was after turning 60 have completely gone away. Sleeping much better too. We haven't been losing weight, and would like to lose a little more. This video is very timely for us. We will start Oct. 1st by cutting out dairy and focus on lean protein. We haven't incorporated fasting yet, other than some OMAD from time to time with a very short eating window. We are going to have give that a try as well. One day this week I ended up getting really busy and went more than 24 hours without eating. I couldn't believe how good I felt, and how much energy I had. This video will help inspire me to try a 48 hour fast.

Yes please Laura, a second video to see how the month went for you would be great. Also I am trying to do Carnivore but I'm really unsure about the quantity of meat etc to eat in a meal. I have spent many years doing different diets on and off where food was weighted/measured so I'm in that mind set and feel I need some guidelines. Seeing what you eat in a meal and over the course of several days is very helpful. I also didn't realise you incorporated fasting and that fasting was a good thing to do on Carnivore. It is giving me an idea of quantity and variety of meat etc. Thank you Laura.

Pound the chicken breast to an even thickness, between two pieces of plastic wrap to keep it from splitting apart. Sam The Cooking Guy harps on this all the time, but he's correct: it will make them cook more evenly. You can also glaze them before and during cooking with mayo, butter, bacon grease or any other sort of good fat, which will hold in the moisture.
@mateochavez11924 ай бұрын
Great suggestions! I take it one step further by slicing the breast in half horizontally, then a light pounding/tenderizing. Cooks in no time and always tender and never dry! Go!!

Carnivore OMAD is what I did but you better be careful or lose too much. I would eat one meal: 1Lb 70/30 beef, about 28 oz of steak with liver. Half a block of cheese, it was easily 3000k meals. Unfortunately I completely lost my appetite after doing that but I started with IF smd 2X day. But yeah carnivore is the easiest diet out if all of them but hard to convince people to try even for 6 months

I do sometimes feel like "where is the rest" even though the quantity that I ate "should" be enough. One thing I do that some of your viewers might do or want to do... If I am especially hungry i have an "appetizer." It will be something nutrient dense like sardines, cod liver, canned or smoked salmon, hard boiled eggs... I eat that before I start preparing the rest of my meal. It takes the edge off so I can enjoy my meal and not go crazy

Stopped that and lost the weight. But then I started eating a lot of cheese and pistachios. That has made me stay up in the low 130’s and feel bloated and make my face break out. I cut the cheese out a few weeks ago and my belly is flatter and skin improving. I cut out the pistachios only 4 days ago, and I notice my belly even flatter. Also, tennis season came to an end and I’m playing way less. So I’m trying to walk more and do more sprints.

I'm not here to judge anyone, but I wouldn't buy something that isn't organic, at least. Chicken 🐔 and ground beef cost almost the same price if you buy them organic instead. The same thing with the patties. The grass fed patties cost around $24-$25 for 5 pounds. I'll prioritize the quality of my food than a trip or eating out. It's just me. But I understand the message for those who live in rural areas or small towns without having access to Costco, Sam's club, Trader's Joe, etc. The importance is the message because we need to help people in their journey to a healthy style of living.

Congratulations Laura on the weight loss! Everything looked delicious. I’m pretty much avoiding dairy and I have to say I feel better. I do allow some butter and sour cream occasionally and I’m measuring everything. Down 4 lbs (I lose it slowly). You grilled chicken breast. You said you wanted to recreate a particular chicken your kids liked. A you tell us what seasonings you used?

I love your channel and your videos! But, I don’t consume Pork nor Seafood, any good Suggestions besides delicious Beef? I love and eat lots of Chicken, and eggs. I’m half Carnivore, half Keto and I’m so happy with the results. Thank you! Stay healthy and blessed! Mr. Chris has been a huge inspiration! Well, actually, you both have been very helpful! You both look so awesome!
