My father went to see them make a brief visit to Glasgow,Scotland with his dad in 1940s. Stan made his first public appearance there. Raised on these two greats. I am 71. The old man bought a cine and screen when I was about 8. We lived in East London and dad would set up the cine every Saturday so us and the kids in the street could watch silent films. This song came out on a vinyl ' single' in the mid 70s and got to no. 2 in the hit parade. The video was played multiple times on ' Top of the Pops' .... 2 LPs of clips from L and H films were released around that same time. (Another Fine Mess' was first, but 2nd I cannot think of ) .... Lots of young people came to enjoy 'The Boys' by watching this and the huge amount of film repeats in the 70s. .... I got to know them during early 1960s, when our head master hired 16 mill sound films, and showed them on a Friday evening at school. I think the headmaster laughed as much as we did ! Nice memories, which are repeated when I watch the dvd box sets I have ! Thanks for the up - load !
