Really high standard of detailed research. This Vlog (as with all your 'location' Vlogs) is actually a 20 minute documentary that will be referenced by future film historians. I was amazed George Stephens was involved in movie making this early. Looking forward to future Vlogs, when you will be exploring beyond Los Angeles. You entertain, you open new interests - and we all learn something new. Many Thanks Jordan and Stay Safe

Hi Jordan, ahhh, good old Laurel and Hardy, if these don't put a smile on your face during this pandemic nothing will. Hard to believe this is nearly 100 years ago and still as popular and funny today. These make me laugh more than some comedies of today. Such great research and attention to detail as always Jordan. I always wonder that aswell whether the people that own these places know that they were filming locations. God Bless you both guys! Great vlog Jordan.

I love the comparisons between the '20s and now. So cool how the house used as a hospital hasn't been changed at all except landscaping. I LOL'd when Jah peed on that dog's wheelchair while it's owner was absorbed in her phone. Perfect ending to the vlog. 😂

Love L&H! The Boys' films will always be funny. There was a lot of care taken in the writing and shooting, clearly. Plus, their rapport on screen was fantastic; that hilarious chemistry was perfect. My favorites of their talkies are The Music Box, Hog Wild (radio antenna), County Hospital, Tit for Tat, Thicker Than Water, plus the feature length films Sons of the Desert, Block Heads, and Way Out West. PS: My cat hates the opening tune from their films ("Dance of the Cuckoos"). When she hears it, she gets completely agitated and looks like she wants to punch something, LOL. 😆

I LOVED Laurel And Hardy. They were my favorite ! This is probably one of your best road trips. Your breakdown of the story and filming was really interesting. You covered alot and did a great job. The George Steven's backstory is really interesting. Just to know how some of Hollywood's Top Directors started is totally fascinating. You really did your homework on this one. Quite a nice neighborhood. When you got to the dog park I caught your dog and the wheelchair about the same time you noticed what he was doing. I actually said outloud, "Oh no, what are you doing?" Then I laughed out loud! It was pretty funny, because he had that " Look what I just did " look on his face when he came over to you. FUN TRIP ! THANKS !

At the 5:47 mark you can still see the same fire hydrant location in the background over the right shoulder of the owner . 1928 was the year my dad was born. I am 61 at the time of this writing. In the mid 60's I went to a Laurel and Hardy film celebration at a Saturday matinee in the old Glendale Theater, which was a converted vaudeville stage. The location is now a shopping center on Brand Blvd. Pity. That was my introduction to them as a kid. They were all silent films and oved them ever since. Great job locating all these places you could.

L &H are just the best, even in this day and age. I loved watching their films when I was young in the 80s on BBC Two. How you managed to find this location, and work it all out must have took you a little time. It looks a lovely neighbourhood now. Is it quite a wealthy area? It’s not everyone who has a tennis court in their garden. Thank you for all your hard work 😓, your channel is amazing.

That was a good vlog there Jordan on the filming locations of Laurel and Hardy "The Finishing Touch." It was great that you tried to match things up as much as you could due to the changes of the landscape of where it was originally filmed at. Jah lifting his leg and urinating onto the wheel of that poor dog. That took me by surprise. It was cool that they would show Laurel and Hardy films at a church potluck. It brings back memories of the childhood church that I attended. We used to do pig roasts, potlucks, Valentine's Day dance, church groups for teenagers, and Bible studies. I do not see too many churches that I have gone to do that much for the congregation like they once did. I am not sure if the priests are as family oriented as they once were. I love the classic comedies and remember a christian channel that would show Laurel and Hardy shorts or even Little Rascals at one time.
