I have so many stencils I need to use and acrylic paints that I'm pretty sure I've had since God was a teenager. I need to get a gel press and start using all this stuff and make some of these prints. Thanks for the inspiration. I've now watched this video twice, because I forgot to comment the first time when I watched the other day and it was fun to watch again! So thanks for sharing and thank you for your enthusiasm.

True story. I make and send cards to Love for the Elderly Organization. Had just gotten a gelli plate and needed ideas quick, fast, and in a hurry. Mostly because I had No idea on how to use a gelli to help me create cards. Found your video. Long story short- I've gotten tons of mileage out of this. Thank you so much. My new hero :)

Congrats to Ardyth, Kathya & Jenny on 5000 subscribers! I love your gel print cards! Thanks for showing how to make something beautiful out of the "undesirables"! How do you clean your brayers & do you clean between some of the colors?
@LaurelBeard4 жыл бұрын
I don't usually clean my brayer, lol! But when I do, I run it under warm water and use a paper towel to get all the paint off. To clean brayer off during printing, I run it over spare paper or spam postal mail I get.

Laurel, you are amazing!! I purchased a gel plate awhile ago after I'd seen a few examples of the cool cards you can make with it, but haven't ventured using it yet. I kind of had no idea how to even begin, but seeing you just go for it & ending up with a couple I thought I'd throw away, you ended up making so many cards that my mouth was very nearly hanging open. lol You've given me a much better idea of how to get started & just loosen up & go with the flow. Thanks so much! Congrats to Ardyth, Kathya & Jenny!

Man oh man...I can’t wait to pull out my plate today! I purchased one months ago and I’ve made so many prints. Some I liked some I loved some I hated and simply don’t know what to do with. Also, I’ve made numerous tools. Stuff like, stamps (made w “trash”) and old napkin rings and different sizes of plastic cups (I’ve made some cool “bubbles” w those) and lots of pieces of fabric and things for texture. I have stencils but most are small and my plate is 12”x14”. The small stencils simply aren’t giving me the effect I wanted. So, it’s been about 4-5 weeks since I last used it. I HATED what I ended up w! After watching your tutorial not only have I realized the amazing stencils I can make w my Cricut but you’ve also shown me what I can do to save the work I last made. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the prints you pulled! Thank you for the inspiration I desperately needed. Apologizes for the wordiness of my comment....i’m just so excited to make some large stencils and start pulling up some art! Thank you for sharing your process:)
