Got a bunch of those textured plates I made with stencils and an old mix. They are very funny to use. I was wondering if diluted acrylic paint does the same effect of that one you used. Gotta try. Some pretty good ideas. Thanks for sharing with us 😊

The beginning is so off putting, it startled me and know now to start somewhere else, past intro video at beginning. Also if you had NO MUSIC would be better as it is so distracting. So ...I know, shut off the audio......whew, relax and paint along. zResults are pretty.

Is drying time really 24 hrs

It's been humid here lately & that causes the paint to dry slower. Also, if the plate has multiple layers of paint they need time to adhere to the final layer of paint. I hope that helps.

I am a bit confused about the layers, I understand the concept of layering. The part I am puzzled about is do I allow each layer to dry completely before adding the final layer and then pulling? Hi Eddie lve tried mixing mica powder with acrylic paint and you can get wonderful color effects with the chameleon powder added paint. If lm going to do what l call the watercolor effect,spritzing with water,l condition the plate the plate the night before with a very small amount of oil and lay plain paper on it,the beading is amazing the following day x
