Whooooo are the musicians on this album? I can’t imagine a more stellar pairing than Lauren Daigle’s sultry voice and the happy, jazzy, festive, master-class amazing instruments that jazz trumpet 🎺 just MAKES my day, the understated drums, a sprinkling of piano, the crooning of the clarinet is so perfectly quiet, you might not realize it’s there, that trumpet again! Is that a trombone I heard. I just caught the upright bass! Oh my - too wonderful for my best words. What a gift of vocals and talents to bring the baby Jesus, son of Mary, King of kings! A very Merry Christmas 🎄 (and I still MUST know who is playing that trumpet)

I am in fourth grade and 9 years old, I turn ten on December 20th it's almost my birthday! I love the beauty of your voice. I too am a christian I was baptized when I was 8 years old. What a blessing this is to my life! Thank you so much for sharing. I have been through a lot. I am a retired military man (20 years), and at the end of my career, I surrendered my life over to Christ. I was just tired of fighting, not just in the physical realm, but in the spiritual realm as well (fighting against God; for I was raised in a Christian home, and had run away from it when I joined the military). I (thought) I was going to enter into a complete life of peace. Was I ever wrong! That's when the real battles began! My kids, all in their teens, were not expecting this 'new' dad who had spent most of their lives away in the Persian Gulf (deployed 9x). I laid down rules for the house (no drinking, drugs, ungodly music, etc.) and the war began. My oldest son got involved in drugs and one day he got drunk and pulled a gun on me, threatening to shoot me. He was arrested and removed from my house. My wife became depressed and attempted suicide, I sat beside her in the hospital while she was unconscious for a week. My daughter became seriously ill during this time with Bulemia, and my youngest son pretty much abandoned the family and has hardly been home since. In that time, I almost lost my home, had three cars break down on me, two car wrecks, and had to learn a new career. Not to mention, I found out that my father (who I had always looked up to as a strong Christian man), had molested my sister when we were kids. [He died when I was 13, in 1985] But Jesus has been with me every step of the way during these past 6 years that all of this happened. I absolutely love getting alone with Him and reading my Bible in silence. It heals me. I have often looked for music to soothe my soul, but most of it seems so fake and blase...but this fits perfectly in my life, and sets the right frame of mind I need during the storms of my life. I know the enemy is fighting against me, but the harder he fights, the closer it drives me to Christ. And honestly, even though there seems to be storms howling all around me all the time, I do have that peace I was searching for when I retired. It is good for me, that I have been afflicted, that I might learn thy statutes. Psalm 119:71 Thank you again and again. God bless you.

Hi there, my name is Hope. Interesting comment, to hear some reality from someone older. I'm only 20, and my family has been exposed the same way. The only difference is that my missonary/preacher Dad has successfully raised us all to be 'Christians'. Yes, there has been some drugs and an affair in there, but that has been the least of our problems. Only in the last few years with God allowing judgement to fall on the false church and expose our lies, has our family sin been exposed. We've always been the best: clean lives, simple marriages, a bible verse to answer every problem. However, now that the grandkids are growing up, it's showing that we're just really good liars. The whole Bible is written so that we would see those before dealing with their family and national sin on a daily basis and now share ours with others. Instead, like you said, our parents lay down false laws for us or we go listen to a useless sermon at church, (the house of God that is a den of thieves) because the little child cannot stand in the midst and say, 'mommy and daddy were screaming at each other this morning'. We've fallen just like Israel, the law was supposed to break them to show how they dealt with their sin, but instead we've created institutions, and programs, where men run away, to continue trying to fulfill a manhood that they didn't receive from their parents. Your son wasn't angry because you weren't a Christian, he was mad because you were such a good one you couldn't give him any reality. The years of you being a strong man in the military were never a strong dad advocating for him now. Our whole family has fallen apart and is being divided. But we still sit down for dinner everyday. We scream, and we cry and we sit going over details, and finding the problems in the parents and grandparents. The last word to the nations before Christ was to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children and vice versa; so also in this time before Christ's return again. My dad still loves to talk everyday about something spiritiual but he continues to manipulate everyone and be a baby every day. He's following in the footsteps of his dad, and all we can do is not be like him. We have to show up everyday and continue to obey ourselves. God miraculously has given us a farm and a fellowship that is held together by this obedience. We work with our hands and the people, land and animals brings us to our knees, and to serve the children more than we were served. America is waiting for a big Daddy to trump (literally) over all the differences and unite us under our lusts, and one religion. He will be accepted, whereas Jesus was killed because he walked into houses, rebuked fathers for asking for healing but being a perverse generation that obviously hadn't cared. It's coming soon, and we're still not meeting at eachothers supper tables. I say to every Christian, don't tell me anything but a dinner invitation! Jesus said to the last church Laodicea (our generation) that he is on the outside and He can't even come in and sup. You almost can't believe that it is literal! No one will sit at the table to start dealing with the generational sin. The true virgins will soon be taken. I hope you're still dealing with these family issues, and dying to what you think is right so your son can be your heir, and you're wife can have a leader that is constantly dying and resurrecting. We need truth in the inward parts not more music. The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it? I the Lord search the heart, I try the reins, even to give every man according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings. No amount of worship songs will cover bad fruit, make things right. Sit down at the supper table and let the child in the midst. A servant, Hope K
