Actually, this very phrase was "borrowed" from the 1970 war film "Patton",starring George C. Scott. During the decisive battle of El Guettar,(Tunisia,1943) U. S. troops under Gen. G.Patton, were giving hell to the attacking german tanks(30 of them were destroyed) & infantry.Very excited Patton says: "Rommel, you magnificent bastard, I've read your book!" It was ok. But, I always wanted to have a computer and internet. My family didn't get one till the late 90s. If I had a smart phone, I would of finished University. I had to go to the library for all my research. Wo, a car. Sucky times really.
