The way Seinfeld indulges his eccentric friends is epic. Doesn't judge them, sees them as they are. That's how he gets the material for his stand-up gig and manages to stay sane. Quality worth emulating.

Yes there is potentially : Seinfeld Uncut. They say that at least half of the comic material had to be cut down to achieve the duration of the episodes. I am not sure it was ever shooted though, maybe it is just on paper. But it is there somewhere.

A lot of ad libs come in a scene like this where the joke rests on punchline, but the actor is given artistic license to come-up with something funny in the moment. They usually do a lot of takes and pick the best. A lot of things could have been the punchline, "I could still do...(something fairly irrelevant/unimportant)" as the arbitrariness of what he could still do while being severely debilitated is the source of the joke.

I must have seen every Seinfeld episode more than a dozen times and it gets funnier every time. From the double dip to George running out of the house in a burning fire knocking everybody out of the way. Or Jerry dropping his girlfriend's toothbrush into the water. That there's also a show that's incredibly funny too if you get a chance to watch it curb your enthusiasm happens to be one of the funniest shows on TV. I truly recommend it to anybody that's in the mood to laugh like you're watching Seinfeld!!

In an earlier episode (either Season 2 or 3), Kramer and Jerry have a conversation about comas and Kramer clearly understands that one can wake up from a coma. Somehow he forgot that several years later.
