Anyone else noticed how damaged and weak her voice and breathing got? I LOVE LAUREN TO DEATH but Idk what happened to her voice it's more raspier (which is good cause I love the raspiness in her voice) but compare her voice from when she started on X Factor to now and you'll notice her breathing and technique got kind of weak , idk if it's cause they gave her too many high notes or she didn't warm up properly but something happened

I once read that most of them barely work with a vocal coach. That's probably the biggest reason. On XFactor her technique was better. One of the reasons her voice got deeper and raspier is due to bad technique (singing extremely throaty, unsupported etc). If she would sing with proper technique her voice wouldn't be nearly as raspy, it would be a tiny bit lighter and she would probably sing a bit higher. She sounds like she wants to sound like a contralto (or her management wants her to sound that way, who knows) which she's definitely not even though some people think she is.
