Honestly I'm very tired of the people that is crazily obsessed with the version of Gakku festival 2017 and just for the D8 think that is the best version..Is a beautiful version also without the incredible and insane D8 with vibrato of 5 seconds but the D8 doesn't make this version better of others..And who write is the best version is totally wrong because is just your favorite version..There are many beautiful and emotional versions of this beautiful and romantic kazakh song sung divinely by Dimash that unfortunately are underrated because too many people is obsessed with the version of Gakku festival 2017..My first favorite version of this song is Online digital concert january 2021 with the video in Dimash's channel..I think you like this wonderful and touching version..The Boss King Angel Dimash Forever

Hi! I like all Dimash's registers and colors of his voice and also how you feel music, interesting analysis thanks Lauren. It's very hard for me to recommend only one Dimash song, there are so many to choose ... That's why I'm going to recommend only 5 essential songs, and you choose as you like: Something otherworldly: "SOS - Live at Slavic Bazar", something scary: "When I've Got You - MV", heavenly: "Ave Maria", to reflect on this world: "The Story of One Sky MV - a masterpiece" and finally something really energetic "Olimpico (Ogni Pietra) - live on July 14th, 2019." These 5 songs are very different but none of them will disappoint you. Take care, see you next time 👏👋

I think they all have been referring to the Gakku's performance 😀 but I think the best one's are from the Singer competition and the from the Digital show from 2021. You should watch these to understand better what we are telling. PS Personal advice - try to use the information provided in the comments and watch the ones from the links received there

The problem is that Dimash never sings the same song the same way twice, This is probably the least preferred version, but damn, its still amazing!

I simply love you analysis on this song 🥰 Thank you for expanding my horizon 😊 However, I think he is singing about a woman he cannot have, because she is promised to another man 💔 So he cries at the end of the song 😢 You version is more positive though ❤ I know a lot of people prefer the Gakku version where he sings his crazy high note D8 (love that too), but this version seems more heartfelt ❤️ Have a great day - looking forward to hearing your next reaction on Dimash, perhaps to the Ukrainian folk song Marigolds which he sang on Mothers Day, March 2020❤ Greetings from Denmark 🇩🇰🤩

Excellent take on the story, Dimash wrote the music to this in his teens and like any great musician you can usually have several takes of the meaning and I am sure there are I took it As a first love where love was so innocent, deep and heavenly, but as we know generally most first loves break our hearts. I totally can see your inference as well. Both scenarios are beautiful and relateable. ❤️

I really enjoyed your reaction ,you were holding your breath ! Dimash wrote this when he was 17 ,she was his first crush ,it didn’t work out ,he had to try and be happy for her when she went with someone else .Thats my take on this song ,but I like your too !

Please also listen to the Gakku version, his voice cuts out a little at the end, and to make up for it he goes all out and hits his famous D8, off the piano!

Great reaction although the Dears will tell you, you need to check out both his "Singer" 2017 and his "Gakku" versions. Another fantastic young singer you should definitely react to is 20 year old Lucy Thomas from the UK. She just released her 5th studio album and also uploaded a new cover version of the classic song "Unchained Melody." Many reactors seem to think that she is one of the best singers in the world. I'd be very interested in your opinion.

I actually prefer this one over the one everyone is telling you is the preferred (Gakku) because in that one he does hit a D8, true but he missed the note when he tried it the first time and tried again and hit D8. This one I think is preferable if comparing the two but he sings this every concert and now when he sings it his voice is richer and warmer with age. Like fine wine, he gets better with age❤

Thanks for sharing your time and thoughts! It seems to me that he gets more desperate as it goes on, and then how it ends is he gives up? Yeah, he has the more famously reacted one with the D8, but I also love his recent concert versions where the audience sings along with him, and without him lol. It's heartwarming

There are better performances of this song although I love this concert and this song. Dimash wrote this song when he was 19 years old and the lyrics were written by Oral Baissengir, of course in Kazakh. He performed this song on his first solo concert in Kazakhstan called Bastau in 2017. It was after he finished The Singer competition. He worked so hard for this terrific concert. I was scared at first when I saw him. He was so terribly thin. Would also like to see your reaction to Lara Fabian singing with Dimash and Aida Garafullina at the 65th Birthday Concert for Igor Krutoy at the State Kremlin Palace in Moscow on Nov 17, 2019. Dimash has worshiped Lara Fabian since childhood. They met on the ice at rehearsal for the first time. There are videos out there of them all bundled up at rehearsal on the ice. Disagree- there are best and worst versions in all life events. By all vocal and performance measurements (Timbre, Pitch, phrasing, Range, Pallet placement) Gakku is one of the two best “Unforgettable Day” performances the other is a duet he did with Li Yugang where he only hits an F#7 (he tried and missed at Gakku) kzbin.info/www/bejne/oHTVf4mXjah1Zs0si=782-SDZ91f_QE_xJ

Probably my least favourite version of this song because of the cheesy choreography. I know everyone loves the Gakku version because of the D8 but my favourite will always be from the Digital Show where he put so much passion and intensity into the song.
