Thank you for this beautiful song! When I first heard it in 1990 on a date to see Pretty Woman with my soon-to-be-husband, I knew it was something very special! We chose it as our wedding song. Today is our 30th anniversary and it still gives us chills!

Funny you should mention the Sade-like voice, because I actually thought it was Sade who sang this gem when i heard it the first time on the radio. I heard this lovely song for the first time in my student coop house during my JYA, London, 1990-91. Someone in the dorm below me was playing it, and I thought, “what a cool tune”. Thirty-three years later, I’m lying in bed scrolling through KZbin, and it shows up in my feed. I’m transported back to that moment and those days. This night I’m time in my Mom’s house during what is possibly her last year.
