Same! I cried watching lauren too. I also know how it feels to leave the hospital without your baby. My oldest was in the nicu for 10 days. I would say just try to rest up as much as you can before baby girl comes, once she's there there def won't be much sleep with 2 feeding babies.

I know how she feels. My baby didn’t come home for 4 months (born at 24 weeks- 1.4 pounds) The first night was so hard. Pumping with no baby to hold was heart breaking. But the day they come home is the happiest day ever! 🥰 Hoping that’s very soon for them!

I know how hard it is I had to do that with both of my son's bcuz they were both premies. My oldest son is 16 & he was in the hospital for over 3 weeks. And my youngest son is 9 & he stayed in for 2 weeks. Bcuz his lungs were underdeveloped. And once he passed all the tests that he had to pass he came home! And their both great boys happy & healthy! All thanks to the Lord Jesus Christ Almighty bcuz I prayed & prayed for both of them. They'll all reunited soon I know it & I'll keep praying for it in Jesus name, Amen!

I remember how skeptical everyone was of Arie and Lauren's love in the beginning, and how upset everyone was that he broke up with Becca. Contrarily, I always thought it was so sweet how quickly they knew they were right for each other. I always think that love stories can use a little believing in, and love, even if it comes quickly, should be celebrated. Clearly Arie chose the best person for him to build a family with. He and Lauren are a beautiful match and their family is lovely.

She is SUCH a great big sister and did so well!! You guys have done good preparing her. My 20 month old was being watched by her grandparents and they got covid the day I had my son.. We were living with them after selling our house so when we came home from the hospital, we all had to quarantine on different levels and we couldn’t be around our girl for a week. I’ve never been apart from her at all until I went to have the baby. I was devastated finding out in the hospital that she couldn’t meet her brother when we got home or couldn’t know we were right under her. I heard her footsteps running around every day and all I could do was cry...she was in the sick zone. I wanted to go and save her from the ick but I couldn’t. Postpartum hormones are NO joke. I would bawl every time I heard her pattering feet upstairs every day, all day. When she finally met her brother, she wanted to hug on him, but I was still being careful since she was still a little sick. Luckily she only just had a cold, but it was so hard seeing her like a different person and then keeping her in safe distance. 5 months later she is still, to this day, not a fan of holding him but loves him. This was seriously the sweetest video and I feel for Lauren. It’s not easy leaving a piece of your heart behind! Hoping you guys will all be together soon! Such a beautiful family!

Twin mom here...my twins were born 8 wks early, I was rushed for e-csec. I never got to hold them cuz they came out not breathing w health issues. My boys didn't come home for 4 wks. It was the scariest 4 wks of my life. It's not easy and very traumatizing. I get Lauren feels like a piece of her is missing but...4 yrs later my twins are healthy happy boys at 2nd gr level, 4 yrs they have never been apart, slept apart, and always look out for ea other, hold hands since 2 wks old, the best of friends, healthy, and happy. know what u are going through is completely normal w twins...1 of many things I think twin parents aren't warned about should be..I tried to warn u when I found out u were pregnant w twins but I don't think u saw.. No one prepared me for not coming home w my boys and def not for 4 wks but know all you are going through will soon be a distant memory. I know it's not easy, much harder on mom/Lauren cuz we carry them but Lauren know you have so many beautiful memories to look forward to that this will pass before u know it. My twins had to sleep together, held hands, and still don't like being apart. Lauren hang in there..I know it's sad and not easy...u feel a piece of u is missing but know u are so close to being whole again. If my twins can survive heart issues, being born 8 wks early, me high risk and 40 yrs old, they were born not breathing...you will get through this and have your family whole before u know it and next thing U will know u will be crying cuz they grow up so fast. Beautiful babies. Congrats to u both!

There are ankle sock breathing monitors for babies. (They’re called owlette or something like that) They connect to an app on your phone and can track oxygen levels. I’m sure your instinct to protect your babies will not let you sleep so hopefully something like that can ease your mind. Lots of love to you!

Those have burned babies and give you a false sense of security. Haven't met a medical professional that recommend it.

@@Piscoandmartinis My son and his wife’s doctor recommended it for their now three year old and so I bought them an Owlette. They used it without problems on her and now their new baby is using it. I haven’t seen anything about burns. Where did you find that info? I definitely don’t want my new granddaughter burned. Thankfully it has worked well for our family and given my son and his wife peace of mind. I know of infants being sent home from the hospital with monitoring equipment if they have had some issues, so I am sure that type of equipment would be better anyway. I just know I would have loved to have something like the Owlette. I think I would have slept better and my babies probably would have slept better without me hovering and checking. I was awake with every snuffle or if they were too quiet I had to check. The irony!

My last baby was born at 34 weeks and was a Nicu baby. The owlet gave us amazing peace of mind. I would recommend it 1,000 times over.

All four of my babies were NICU babies. Walking out of the hospital without a baby is heart wrenching. I feel for those who remain with empty arms. It’s an emotion you can’t comprehend unless you have been there. Hugs momma. Your sweet babies are absolutely perfect and in due time this will only add to the compassion you can share with others. 😘😘😘

Alessi is a wonderful big sister to Lux already. It is heartbreaking now but once baby girl comes home it'll be worth the special care she is receiving. Love and Light.

Hang in there Lauren! My youngest had to stay in NICU for a few days… born at 34 weeks. It’s so hard but it’s in her best interest. Love this video! Alessi is so sweet with her brother💕 Love his name!

The NICU journey is a tough one but that day that both your babies are home is almost as amazing as their birth ❤ My twins are 8 now and spent 18 days in the NICU in another state for half the time...It was so hard but the day the nurse came in and said they were going home is still 1 of the greatest days of my life! Sending much love and prayers to your whole family ❤❤❤❤

Oh Lauren, I know leaving baby girl in the NICU is so hard on your mama heart. My baby boy was in the NICU for 24 days in February, and it was the hardest thing I have ever had to go through. Try to find peace in remembering that her nurses will love on her when you can't be there, and that she is in the best hands getting everything she needs to get stronger and grow. I will be praying for you, and that she gets to be with your family at home super soon! 💗
