How beautiful. My niece has 2 sets of twins. She never needed "treatment," they came naturally. She also has an older son. You both remind me of my beautiful niece and her husband, who introduced her twins to her son in the same manner as you. I watched them and was in awe. When they were told there was a great chance to have another set of twins after having their first set, they decided to plan for another baby regardless. At 10 weeks pregnant they were told she was carrying twins. Their son is now 13, the first set of twin girls are 10 and the second set of twin girls are 6. All these years later I am still in awe, even more so as she takes them to music lesson, dance classes, recitals, etc. She does it all with such enthusiasm and grace. How sweet! I have two kids with the same exact birthday too…they’re just not twins! I was due October 15th, 2007 and October 15th, 2010…Morgan Jo was born on 9/30/07 and Mackenzie Rae was born on 9/30/10. Nobody ever believes me or tell when we first tell people they have the same exact birthday. It’s so special and we honestly celebrate the entire month of September, especially since my husband (their dad obviously) was born on 9/3/81. We definitely beg the 9 and 3 horse whenever we’re at a racetrack!

My daughter had an ectopic pregnancy in which her tube ruptured. She was so scared she would have a hard time getting pregnant again with only one tube. But miraculously 3 months later she found out she was five weeks pregnant with twins! Her’s were identical girls. She carried them 37 weeks and they both weighed 5lbs 10oz which the doctor said was rare even for identical twins! They are now beautiful 17 year old young ladies! I miss those baby girls so much, but I love those young ladies more than words can say! Of course I feel the same way about all of my grandkids (8 in all)! I am truly blessed… as are you! Remember every moment… the good times and the bad! Before you know it you will be wondering where the time went!

Beautiful babies! When you were telling about their names I have tears streaming down my face... Rainbow babies are so special for every reason, but those names mean what they do I don't want to ruin it for somebody that has not watch the video, it's just extra special. The way you guys took Alessia out for ice cream when you could see that she just needed a little extra Mom and Dad time-- super smart!! But as usual they handled it beautifully and are doing an amazing job giving her the attention she needs right now. It isn't until 3 that children naturally start to be less dependent on their mom/ dad. So she needs to know she's going to get all the love she needs...and when she's 3 it will start getting easier for all of them ;)

Get alessi 2 gift/toys and tell her her siblings brought it for her because they love her so much. That way her jealousy will be less cause she knows they ( siblings) care for her. Its what its usually done when you get a new baby home to meet the older one.

My brother did this for his son when their daughter was born and it really helped. It's a stuffed animal so he got to name it and he plays with it all the time and it's his new sleeping buddy.

I know a lot of people do this.. but as someone how works in early childhood education it's actually not developmentally appropriate at all to do this at Alessi's age. If she were out of the toddler stage (ends at 2 y 9 mo) it could be more impactful. Sure, she may love the toys she would receive but she's too young to understand that her siblings care for her from that or even that they gave them to her lol but mainly sibling jealousy at that age isn't about whether or the tod thinks the babies care for her, or if she has enough toys, its about the lack of/shifting attention from mom and dad.

Alessia is adorable it's a big adjustment for a little one like her not sure how old she is but I'm guessing two and a half or three years old now! She's doing rather well though, of course I know she still needs lots of attention as well! Your family grew fast yay!
