Wow! This technique saved my wash and style. So simple and so VERY effective. I use different products for my holy grail and this technique changed the game. I get 7 days now. This Grannie is grateful. Thank you for sharing your successes. ❤

Great vid!!!! I was washing my hair today.. many people have told me they like my curls and that I should wear it curly but I never have. I always blow dry it out and rarely use a curling iron. I wash my hair every 2 1/2 weeks. I am definitely going to try this next time. You’re hair came out GORGEOUS ‼️

I finally figured out why my wash n gos wasn’t working out. Simply put, I wasn’t using enough gel. I have very thick 3c hair. My wash n gos never came out right until I seen KZbinr Mini Marley do her routine (she used a lot of gel & emphasized laying it on the roots ) after trying that technique, it worked for me.

@@laurencamillee eco styler works for me. Or wet line, but I typically use eco styler (green bottle)
@nekeavalentine8717 Жыл бұрын
What's the issue with Eco Styler gel? Educate me sis.
@laurencamillee Жыл бұрын
It is made with Carbomer and PVP they are film-forming synthetic plastics. They tend to buildup on the hair over time and create a barrier that doesn’t allow water in after it dries. The wetline extreme gel that i switched too does the same overtime as well! I’m actually in the process of doing some more hair research that I can share in my next hair video 🫶🏽🥰
@user-eb5wq3vi2j Жыл бұрын
I loved Wetline because it pairs with alot of leave ins and doesn't flake until about a year of use and although I regularly deep conditioned, my hair literally became brittle, especially in the winter months, and I experienced so much damage that I had to switch leave ins and gel. My hair is high porosity so I now use a liquid leave in instead of creams and V05 hair grease along with avocado and jojoba oils. I have 4b and these are the products that have sustained my hair to which it doesn't snap as quickly. Natural hair is very fragile which is so frustrating trying to save the hair on your head.
@francinemaultsby8530 Жыл бұрын
you dnt use no leave in conditioner
@laurencamillee Жыл бұрын
I used that as my leave in! 🫶🏽

Normally people put 3c/4a when it is just 4a. 3c has totally different width of curls. 3c curls are much bigger than 4a. Not to mention 3c you don't need to scrunch it to make it curl.
@chiquitafederico296 Жыл бұрын
Except she has 2 different sizes of curls it looks like.. Her front curls look very close to any 3C examples I've seen and her back curls are tighter.. Most people I notice definitely have multiple curl diameters over their heads, myself included, so I just say I'm type4 because I know my curls vary.. To me totally looks like she described her curls accurately.. 🤷🏾♀️

Alright I'm a lil confused on somethin (am a trans girl so bare with me 🥲) Does this type of routine help with hair growth? I only started committing to growing out my hair less than a year ago and am desperate for length rn. If not, are there some steps u recommend adding to the routine, maybe? Also ur hair so PRETTY
@laurencamillee Жыл бұрын
hi! 🥰 thanks for your comment! this routine is not centered around hair growth though I do think a good wash n go is beneficial to growth because it allows you to have to style your hair less. I’d say the key to growth is maintaining hydration and minimizing manipulation! find a style that you like and make sure that your hair is hydrated and detangled and try to leave it alone as much as possible! keep up on your maintenance as far as trims, washes and deep conditioning treatments and most importantly be patient and love on your hair throughout the process 🤍 my hair thrives when i find a consistent routine
