I never watched The Hills, because I don't really care that much for "reality" TV, but I did read her LA Candy books and loved them. I know some people stereotype California blondes as dumb, but she isn't. She's really intelligent, and knows about fashion and make-up and all the stuff that I have no real interest in, but commend her for pursuing her interests. So, as one blonde to another, I say, "Way to go, Lauren!"

I love her books and I think she's super kind and grounded, but sometimes she comes off as way too diplomatic- I want her to be real, not so calculated, and say STRAIGHT UP what she thinks! Not offending anyone but not trying to hide what you really think... It's annoying me
