If you’re wondering why people get so defensive saying “I’m sorry if this isn’t Lauren” or “Y’all think everyone is Lauren 🙄,” I think it just gets annoying when people assume there’s only one good editor (even if that may be a compliment for you) and there’s just been too many editors getting accused for being Lauren even if the style isn’t remotely similar.
