Hey friends! Today I'm remaking a shirt by adding some pretty lace details! I've been so inspired by the beautiful styles from LoveShackFancy, and thought I'd apply some of the same details here! If you've been wondering how to add lace to a piece of clothing, I hope this is helpful!

You’re so creative Lauren! Clever how you put the two laces together! Here I’m almost done with my houndstooth cape, just got to do the buttons and buttonholes. I really want to continue sewing, picking up a new skill with each project! This time it was to sew a lining! I was confused a few times and and to undo and redo some parts but I guess that’s the way one learn! 😉

Love this refashion. I recently recreated a dress from this designer. It sold out fast when featured at Target stores. So my daughter asked me to try to recreate. I used the Colette Dahlia dress and Deer and Doe Myosotis dress patterns as a guide. I entered it an Instagram challenge this summer.
