I know a lot of beauty influencers and makeup artists on KZbin have these extensive collections and while I really appreciate learning about the products and seeing the swatches, I have to admit it makes me feel nothing but relief that I stopped purchasing so much makeup years ago and that my collection stays so manageable at somewhere around 25 lip products 😅. I love being able to use up my stuff and not feel like I’m throwing money in the trash. I will always be a makeup junkie but one with realistic limits.

I too am obsessed with lip liners. Ppl treat it like a skipable step but I love that it not only defines my lips but you can use lip liner to adjust the tone of a lipstick or tinted lip product.

If anyone is interested in the Wet and Wild rose lip color balm,skip the peach color. It's the only one that has shimmer and honestly it comes out very frosty looking and doesn't have a lot of color. Definitely recommend either the red one or the two brown ones.

This video made me think about how I always think it's interesting that people will try to shame someone for having too much makeup, especially when it's multiples of very similar products. But nobody is out there shaming people for having 87 fancy hot sauces they will never finish, or having shelves and shelves of books, or having boxes of records, or having stashes of paintbrushes, or a garage full of tools. Just interesting that having a lot of makeup is viewed differently, maybe just because people associate it with vanity. And vanity can mean confidence, and confidence can mean power. I just feel like if a person can afford it and store it, they should feel free and happy to have as much makeup as they want to without judgement...

A shelf of 1000 books that were only read once have just as much likelihood as going to a landfill as a stack of old blushes. 🤷 And if perishability was the issue, people would be more disturbed about a collection of watercolour paints then they would be about a woman with too many shoes, but that just isn't the case most of the time. Just interesting is all. Just interesting.

Hi Bri! Love your picks! I kick myself in the butt over and over I did not get the Oden' Eye Christmas palettes!!! Not only for the color stories, quality, and shifty shades but because the packaging reminds me sooo Much of my Grandma I recently lost (who was a Mother to me) just the aesthetic was 100% her! She was a Christmas aficionado. With soooo many people swooning and jonesing for a restock of that collection, I don't understand why they do not! Also, I need to give Adept another chance. I purchased the House of El palette and it is Gorgeous but as an MUA/ woman with Extremely hooded lids...the multichromes just slid and moved around Everywhere!😢

Idk if you see old comments, but i think you'd love (some) of the Lisa Eldridge Gloss Embrace lip glosses. I say some bc the color opacity is different that I find the more opaque ones hard to wear evenly. BUT you need to get Go Lightly it is the best everyday easy peasy shade and then I haven't tried the more shimmery ones, but I feel like they'd be up your alley. I love how they feel, not heavy at all, but they have staying power. When they do fade my lips do feel like I had been wearing a balm. They have a lot of colors that look to be shades you enjoy wearing based on the swatches in the video. A little pricier (and I def don't recommend all of them, I'm very disappointed with Myth 😔, but Go Lightly 😍 and I also have Blush which I do love when I want a little bit more. I'm very tempted by Delilah and Charm. Great video! I appreciate the descriptions of all the characteristics (packaging, ease of use, how it wears, smell, taste etc.) Tysm!

I got a nasty reaction from the Two Faced Lip Injection Extreme. Got a sample as well, tried it once, my lips and the ares around burned, turned red, and became swollen. I had to take Benadryl and wash my face completely.

Okay YES for a 2 hour video! And I wish I liked drugstore lipsticks so I could save money but Melt bullet lipsticks are my favorites and the only ones I have. I’ve tried several drugstore brands but they never have the true browns I need and I don’t prefer the formula. As far as glosses I want to give more drugstore a try to save some money in the future but to me drugstore lip products are just all varied shades of pink and like…I don’t want that. Some of us want some browns.
