On the note of "Lethe" (the Ulrich lang one) , it's probably inspired by the underworld river lethe in greek mythology! I have a similarly themed set of products and it's all about cleansing the mortal mind of stressors and all the weighty memories of living in a human body before you get to frolic in the afterlife. a really nice theme and usually uses notes of lavender as inspiration, or at least other stereotypically calming and rejuvenating notes.

Love all your videos, Lauren! I need an investigative journalism series on your channel where you find the perfume version of a particular scent bc you are SO good with nuances in fragrances! Have you ever used the La Roche Posay micellar water? I’m obsessed with its scent and would love a perfume version of it, but I have no idea how to describe it other than “clean” lol

Have you tried the Salt&Stone line… it has deodorant, body wash, body cream and a body mist. Very much spa vibes…. Three different scents, my favourite it Santal and Vetiver…… you may enjoy these …… ps, absolutely love all your videos ❤❤

If you are looking to upgrade your shower experience while renting, and you have a tub shower combo with a shower curtain, try getting a curved shower curtain! I'm telling you, you'd think that such a small thing wouldn't make a difference, but it makes your shower feel HUGE inside. It's an easy and affordable upgrade as a renter, and so so worth it.

I love Skylar Pink Canyon! When I went through their sample set, I thought Salt Air, Isle Escape, and Capri Summer were also super spa-like! They're all so fresh and calming.

Thank you for this. I’m loving Rain from Clean Reserve even though I used to hate it. I think it’s because I need something that feels refreshing and energizing. My mental health is not great, but damn… fragrance can change the game with that. It’s been cool to watch your last few videos where you’ve been open about current mental health struggles and watch your mood change throughout the video :) it’s lovely to see someone talk about something they love and watch the positive effects that has. Side note: Thoughts and feelings on giving a comprehensive review of the Snif and the Nue Co. houses? I’m intrigued by affordable scents that can give a little more while I’m on a low buy.

I would love to get your first impressions on Dusita! My personal favorite “spa” scent (imo, not probably what many would consider spa-like), Erawan is from the house. I’ve almost finished the 50mL I bought late last year already because I love it do much. On me, it’s very green and sweet hay dominant, and it reminds me of a cool breeze over a meadow on a spring day. It’s also more herbal instead of floral. For me personally, a very calming scent, which is what makes me think of a spa.

The first time I smelled Liis Bo I thought exactly that it smelled like inside a sauna! Dry wood. I don’t get any vanilla tho 😢 still like it, especially to layer! Liis Floating is my dream - love it ❤

Ooh I love this whole vibe! Diptique Tam Dao gives me woody sauna for sure, very zen. Love the Eucalyptus Spearmint BBW candle, it’s a very clean fresh one with a good throw. Kinda off topic but have you tried DS and Durga “ I Don’t Know What “ or Another 13 by Le Labo? I think you might like them and I’m curious to know your thoughts ( I love molecular scents but they can be polarizing) ❤❤

Check out Nectar Bath Treats for Shower Steamers, they have huge break-apart steamers in 5 different scents, each with a menthol background. I like to take a quarter of it for a shower and it provides a lovely aromatherapy experience, and if I were sick and wanted some sinus help I'd use two quarters to strengthen the scent. I think you'll like Ocean Breeze, it's a soft, warm, breezy kind of scent and one of their most popular scents.

For shower steamers the ones lush makes are okay, but they don’t have any scents that really give "spa vibes". Really wish they would come out with one that’s a bit more eucalyptus. Honestly my favorite shower steamers are ones made by local crafts people. They aren’t that hard to make so I feel like if you live in a city you could probably find them at a farmers market or crafts fair.

Lauren, you have to try Niven Morgan's Green Tea & Peony Hand and Body Lotion. I never spent more than drugstore money on body lotions, but this one was the first one I got after it was offered at a hotel. It's the epitome of "luxurious spa smell".

I heard lots of good things about anihana shower steamers! They’re a kiwi brand but available at Target I believe. I haven’t tried myself tho because they’re not available in Europe 😢

The best sugar scrub I’ve found is from Trader Joe’s. So scrubby, moisturizing and smell incredible. Also decently affordable. My fave used to be from the raw sugar brand I found at target but it was $12+ I still get it occasionally as a treat but the TJ body care is pretty good. I like the shower steamers from lush, but I’m not sure if I like them because they work amazingly or because I enjoy lush fragrances haha.

I think the closest perfume I have found to Philosophy Warm Cashmere is Sweet Tooth from Sabrina Carpenter! It has the same milky and sweet scent! I find them super similar!! I am not sure if it is available in the UK but I hope that helps!! :)

I would definitely try the colognes and body washes from the brand Cremo. They sell them at WalMart and Target. Most of the scents I’ve smelled are fresh and unisex, although they are marketed to men. If you’re into woody scents, then Ebony Wood from Zara is also amazing.
