I love that you actually showed the uncleanliness of the couch. It looked very similar to our couch at home. I’m always embarrassed to start a KZbin channel because I feel like our house gets really dirty & most KZbinrs ‘clean to decorate’ but their house is already clean. So thank you 🙏

Love that you want your boys to remember you collecting the village. My Gramma had the most amazing Christmas village and I remember when I was little I would stare at it forever every year. I have it now that she's gone and oh gosh, I think of her so much everytime I walk by it. Christmas villages are so special.

Lauren, your living looks fantastic, very cozy and not overdone. It is refreshing to see the red being used, so many on going natural which I also like but I still have red items that I like to decorate as well. Great idea for storing toys in a basket and then put a Christmas pillow on top. Helpful tip for a new grandmother. Again, love your honesty. Appreciate how you change out a space until you are please with it. I believe that is a more realistic expectation when decorating. Merry Christmas to you and your family.

A few years ago, I saw Christopher Allen add twinkle lights to just the center of the tree, so it had a subtle twinkle rather than the whole tree flashing. I tried it, and really like the look of it for something different. Your tree is beautiful 🎄✨️

The living room looks so beautiful and cozy, Lauren! The twinkle lights you added to the tree definitely give it that sparkle like the viral Home Depot tree. I went for an old world Victorian kinda vibe for my tree and mantle this year. I used dried orange slices, little flickering clip on candles, deep burgundy velvet bows, and I even made faux amber glass ornaments from a tutorial I found online. It’s very different from what I’ve done in the past, but I’m pretty sure it’s my favorite tree I’ve done. Can’t wait to see the rest of your decorating videos 🎄also your blooper at the end 🤣🤣 I could never be a KZbinr bc the sound of my voice makes me cringe lol
