I love the flocked trees! The great gatsby tree turned out amazing! I love real garland on the stairs. I did that last year. I filmed a whole video it is so fun! Love Love Love the decor. I also had trouble with my cat getting in my tree so I pulled out the aluminum foil and surrounded my tree on the bottom with it. After several days she wouldn’t go near the tree! It’s very unsightly with the aluminum foil but it worked. She hated the sound of the foil when she walked on it. Lol

This is beyond beautiful, great job Lauren.❤️ Everyone is gonna think, we are crazy, but living in Germany christmas decorating is like not existing bevor Christmas Eve. We are having our Adventskranz, it is fresh wreath with 4 candles for each sunday of Advent. In these weeks we are going to Christkindlmarket, visiting friends and family. On Christmas eve, we are going early in the morning in to the forest, there are marked trees and you can cut them. Our children are all about giving the worst looking tree the chance to shine. 😅 So we get an ugly tree. We put it up at 4pm decorated with apples, nuts, real candles and old ornaments from our families. Than we have christmas dinner, it is always goose with Knödel & Rotkohl. At 11pm we are going to church. So this is our christmas, as simple as it can be. It is the same christmas, my husband and i had as children.
