Oh my gosh Lauren. This felt like such a you thing to do; sign up with a week's notice, pitch up with very little preparation just to have some fun, and then walk off with the crown. all of my local pageants have been in high schools/theatre’s. and then our state pageant is actually in a church sanctuary (it’s more modern church)!! so it’s cool to see you’ve never competed in a school! so proud and happy for you
