I just decided to take a bike ride down to foreshore and it looks like the water overflowed... the houses look like they may have been flooded as well

the tidal barrier is for the river hull you appear to be stood at pier so seeing as there isnt a barrier for the humber what your filming is obvious

Access to the tidal barrier was closed off this was closest I could get. The video shows the water level in the Humber and how close it came to breaching the defences and I'm glad I got the shots of the floating pier.

The Tidal Barrier is in the Humber Estuary. It is to hold back the Estuary water from entering the River Hull. What he is filming IS the Tidal Barrier.

Xavneiros actually the tidal barrier is a few hundred yards into the river hull, had it been built in the estuary as you wrote it would have had to have been much wider to allow for shipping turning into the mouth of the river

I stumbled across your video of the storm surge in Hull in 2013 and was wondering whether you would allow us permission to potentially include some of it as part of our film?
