It's the Apollo, people are actually there to be entertained, and amateurs go there to *actually* get their mettle honestly tested. She was off key for a couple of bars in the beginning, that's not entertaining, it's just a pain to listen to. Thankfully, she finds where she's going to be and the audience forgives her. I love Lauryn Hill. She didnt fold under pressure. When they started booing, that allowed her to go harder. In the end they were overtaken by her talent. Good life lesson.
