Lauterbrunnen Valley in Autumn🇨🇭(a peaceful Switzerland Tour & Vlog!)

We're taking you with us on a relaxing trip through Lauterbrunnen Valley, which is (in our opinion) the most beautiful village in all of Switzerland! It's also the peak of fall / autumn making it even more beautiful! :D
We catch the train from Wilderswil and ride it into Lauterbrunnen, where we explore the village, take pictures at the famous Lauterbrunnen Church, and take a relaxing walk down to the end of the valley - splitting up our walk between the river trail and the cow pasture trail (cross at Camping Jungfrau)! At the end of the trail you can take a cable car (or gondola) up to other villages in the mountains (we visit Murren and Gimmelwald on another day... included in the video of course!), take a bus back, or walk back and take it all in again!

Lauterbrunnen and the surrounding villages are absolutely stunning. My partner and I went last year and it was so breathtaking. We definitely plan on going back and exploring more villages and more of the area.

I've found using your camera strap to be taut around your neck as way to handheld stabilize, sort of like a make shift gimbal. Another trick is to take a deep breath and exhale as you shoot the 3 - 4 second scene.

I've attempted the strap method... still apparently a master of shaking though lol. I think I want to try out one of those newer lenses with better stabilization. Before that I'll tried the exhale method though!! I usually hold my breath.. it doesnt work hahaha.

Thank you!! It is very beautiful!! Im not sure which showed in this video, but we have 2 filters we use pretty often. One is the Urth variable ND filters, 1-8.6 stop! On the larger sizes they do have pretty bad vignetting or even the X when you push past ~6 stops, but it’s never really a problem with how we film. The other is the Tiffen glimmer glass. I think it’s just the 1. Love this one, but it can cause ghosting in some lighting situations. Hope that helps!!

Thank you so much!!! Hope they help in planning your own travels!!! We were in Lauterbrunnen October 5-Nov 1, and Zermatt Nov 1-8! I think the snowfall/autumn can vary a bit (our first trip to Lauterbrunnen was earlier in October and the fall colors came a bit earlier that year!) but I think mid October will be the perfect time for the fall season! :) you’ll almost certainly get the gorgeous fall and still probably get to see snow at higher altitude!
