“Lava Shelter” - Shadow Generations Style Remix

So I haven’t actually played Shadow Generations yet 😭, I ordered the collectors edition and I’ve been waiting for my copy of the game to arrive for a while now (believe me it’s been an agonising wait), so in the meantime I figure I’d remix one of my favourite tracks from Shadow the Hedgehog if the level itself were to be featured in the game. (I was hoping for literally any level from Shadow the Hedgehog.)
Honestly I’m pretty happy with how it came out and how quickly I managed to make it, I was on the verge of another creative slump but it’s not often I can make something like this within the span of a day. Hopefully if I do make any more Shadow remixes, it’ll be AFTER I play through the game.

I'm genuinely impressed, this sounds exactly like a Shadow Generations track, the electronic rock vibe feels a lot like a collab between Jun Senoue and Circuit Ferq or Toriena

Thats my only nit pick with Shadow Gens is that there was zero rep for Shadow 2005 in terms of stages. Imagine going through Lava Shelter, Westopolis, or Glyphic Canyon.

if there is one thing i can say about shadow gens is i wish the black doom level transition parts were not all radical highway, like maybe for the ark it transitions into a section of the ark from shadow 05, for rail canyon it transitions into lava shelter and so on, like each transition is something from shadow 05, maybe then it wouldn't be so shocking that no full shadow 05 stage was in it. lol

This fits perfectly in the Shadow Gens OST with all the key elements of Lava Shelter! Great pick from Shadow 05 too! I played through a couple paths in the original Shadow game as a kid (also did a 100% run recently in preparation of Shadow Gens) and Lava Shelter is hands down the most memorable stage for me.

(EDIT: Concealed my mention for those who don't yet want spoilers on Shadow Generations. Please click Read More if you wish to view regardless.) For the Shadow rep in Shadow Generations, I was imagining Sky Troops/Glyphic Canyon (as a shared stage) being the first stage rep, while the finale would meld both Radical Highway and the five ShTH final stages together as illusions of Black Doom's making within the Black Moon. For Act 2, I was imagining the focus would be around Lava Shelter, Cosmic Fall and G.U.N. Fortress with this music on show (partly thanks to the brief Cosmic Fall nod there).

@@shawnleeguku Alr cool. Funny how mods were much faster for Shadow Gens then it was for Frontiers. If I recall correctly it took months for the first custom cyberspace stage and even then it was just a test stage for the Magnet Dash move.

@@CaptainF123 I don't remember how long it took, but I know they had skin mods within a few days because I remember after finishing the main story I put on a Blaze mod to get 100%. Shadow Gens is very similar to Frontiers so it's probably gonna be a lot quicker since the tools already exist, just need refining for Shadow.
