Going back to 5th grade and middle school to present day, most professional athletes have always been amongst most popular in every setting they've been in. This naturally attracts attention from females including the most attractive girls in elementary/middle/high school/college, and into adulthood. The unfortunate reality for many of these athletes is that they can't tell the genuine females from the fake because unlike most regular dudes, the best athletes never learned the game from getting rejected the way regular dudes had to go through before learning how to charm females based upon simply being themselves. Consequently, a professional athletes may get played by simple game that regular dudes can sniff out a mile away and Lavar's aware of this and simply attempting to prevent his sons from becoming another statistic.
