Lonzo Ball dropped 27 points on 10-for-13 shooting against his former team in the Chicago Bulls' 121-103 win over the LA Lakers. While his little brother, LaMelo Ball has started getting more headlines in Charlotte, Lonzo has thrived in his first year playing with Chicago, and looks like a much more improved player than when he was drafted 2nd overall by the Lakers in the 2017 NBA Draft. Skip Bayless and Shannon Sharpe discuss whether Lonzo is re-making the case that he is as good as LaMelo.

Exactly. It is extremely repetitive as is first take. Same topics everyday. A more refreshing thing would be to talk about other sports other than american football and basketball. It panders to an urban audience and shannons's weakness is that he dosen't really know other sports such as baseball, boxing, and world football. Canelo historically beat plant last week and you didn't hear one word about it. USA also beat Mexico in a huge game in world football but still no word.

@@nate8604 Lebron is a great player but a horrible teammate. There’s no past or present teammate of his that’s doing better or benefits bc of him like Jordan. He got Wiggins traded bc he didn’t want to mentor him. He got the lakers youth traded bc he didn’t want them to shine. He wants to be the show. He’s not a straight shooter like MJ. He acts like a friend and backstabs them. Plus I know someone who played on the Cleveland team with him.

I watched this greatness from four rows back. Lonzo has been my favorite player since he was at UCLA. It just felt like destiny when he was drafted into the Lakers. And while I’m still bothered that the Lakers traded Zo, at least I can still see him serve a 27-piece with 8 cups of buffalo and 8 cups of BBQ 😂 Oh and every Westbrook turnover hits different in person. Sucks to be a Lakers fan right now. I’d trade Westbrook for 2 cases of diet Mountain Dew. THT is the real deal, too. That dunk…

Fkin Lakers bro, I said it at the time, we were trading our future to get Lebron one, maybe two Championships, we shoulda been patient, lets our youngsters grow, and if we really wanted a Free Agent, LA is the most popular destination for players in the entire NBA, its not like if we didn't get Lebron there would never be another Free Agent coming to LA lol. Now we got a roster full of old dudes and AD.....who is even more fragile than any of those old dudes. We coulda been set for the next 10 years

@@Tony-fq5bn As soon as Lakers got LeBron in FA, everyone knew most of the core youngsters was going to get traded for a ring. Also for the past decade or two, I haven't seen the Lakers develop a player to be good. In a way I'm glad our youngsters are able to develop their games outside of the Laker limelight to reach their own potential. Funny thing is Lakers probably could have got Zo, Demar, and retained AC in the off-season. Less likely the former since Zo was probably already headed to Chicago.
