I’m in Australia and I sometimes use Lavazza too. I always get a good result with it.

Yeah the trick is to find a bag which is fresh about 2 months or so 😀 Coffee was good 👍

I love lavazza from my moka pot that cost around 50$ that machine your using cost around 1k, you think it's worth it? Is that your first espresso machine? I've been looking at the gaggia for less 1/2 but by time you add the features this already comes with this actually looks like the better deal. Thanks for the video. Excuse my ignorance.

My first was a Rancilio Silvia, but lacked the features, and therefore I upgraded 😊

Hello, love ur setup. do you recommend the profitec go? im looking into buying my first espresso machine. Thanks
@paviaaPS3 Жыл бұрын
Price wise, i would go for the eureka mignon manuale, cheaper and does the job well. As far as the espresso machine yes it’s easier to use the Profitec go than a Rancilio Silvia, but it’s also very expensive. If you are more towards milk based drinks, the Go is not suitable for you. This machine targets people who are more into espresso

@BadDrivers thanks for the info. Do you recommend one that is more for latte ?
@paviaaPS3 Жыл бұрын
@@rickygarcia1926 yes this goes well with latte, more pungent and darker roasted the same as well with Lavazza dolce e crema. Or the other brand I can recommend would be Kimbo espresso Napoli or Kimbo golden aroma, both are Italian dark roasted, goes well with milk, most Lavazza coffee is lighter roasted 😊

@@paviaaPS3 hi, I have the new Profitec GO and having a terrible time steaming. In your previous comment Did you say that you didn’t think the GO was suitable or the best option for milk based drinks. Lattes are all I am really interested in at this point as a newbie in espresso.
@paviaaPS3 Жыл бұрын
@@Dawn2820 it is more than capable to steam milk, but it’s a single boiler, meaning you have to wait for steam temperature to rise and vice versa brew temp to drop when brewing espresso

Why do you flush the group head a second time? Is that really necessary? Thanks for making the video!

No not really, but it can help to stabilize the temp within the ring group 😊

What are your favorite beans that you’ve used so far?
@paviaaPS32 жыл бұрын
Definitely the lavazza espresso barista is on my list. I’m going to try out the lavazza oro tomorrow morning. I don’t know if this is a known brand to you. But here I DK we have a brand called Merrild and they make an espresso called signature no. 64. It is extremely good 👍

Why not buying specialty coffee from a local roaster, specifically sourced ?
@paviaaPS32 жыл бұрын
First of all, this coffee was only 14 usd for 1 kg, really cheap. 2. the taste was very good and sweet. 3. The roast date was only 2 months old. Specialty coffee, the cheapest I can find is 27 usd for 1 kg. But it’s not always so convenient for me to pick up a bag of specialty coffee, when I have easy access to okay quality coffee from the supermarket. Besides I also used to be a coffee snob only thinking specialty coffee is the way, but it’s not, it was just me not knowing how to brew. So my one mission is to get whatever coffee look delicious and brew it so it’s nice. Also, I don’t so much like the new trend with specialty coffee, where they sell you a bag off coffee for espresso machines, and the brewed espresso tastes like green grass 😂. You also don’t eat unripened fruit, the same goes for coffee, undeveloped coffee beans don’t go along with espresso machines. Yes underdeveloped coffee is good with drip, v60 filter etc but not espresso. And yes sometimes I use filter coffee beans in my espresso machine and I kinda like it 😅 But final word would be, that specialty coffee is insanely priced, I see some shops selling for 30+ for a kilo 🤷♂️, so I need to practice with some cheaper options😊 Thanks for commenting and happy new year, stay safe 🙏😊
