TIP: Next time you reach the devil/angel room before the boss, try to hit yourself or something to reduce your chances on the current floor so the next floor have more chaces (In this case u didnt get it but its worth it sometimes)

i just had a run as the forgotten where i was dealing around 125 damage with the melee swings. first gold room item was deadly aim (makes you do more damage when you don’t miss) same floor got a steam sale and next floor got the paper bag item that makes extra coins drop. on last floor got the R Key item, used it, played through the whole game again, bought a disturbing amount of items. when i finally got to Mother i killed both phases with just a few hits. i’ve learned so much from watching your videos and my runs are so much better now, your videos are entertaining but also insightful to see how you deal with things. great video

for forgotten i'd recommend going for azazel since flight is gonna be really useful to dodge mom, as for tainted characters you have to drop a trinket (i think) in a boss room and during the ascent it'll turn into a cracked key which you can use in home. Good luck!
