Here is a full version of the theme from Lavender Castle - it also includes bits of incidental music from "Flower Power", "High Moon" and other unknown episodes. I've also added some clips from the show to make a little music video!

This is what happens when you mix the creator of Stingray, Thunderbirds, Captain Scarlet with the studio that makes The Wind in the Willows, Danger Mouse and Count Duckula. With an extra ingredient from the artist who did the "Traveller's Tales" logo in the 90s. What a curious combination with a memerable theme.

I remember watching a couple of episodes of this show as a kid, but I never remembered the name of it. However a few years ago I happily rediscovered this show again and I love it's quirky sci-fi/fantasy style (particularly for Sir Squeak-a-lot the robot: My favourite character). I love science fiction and stop motion animation and the whole design of the show itself. Also, I never knew as a kid that Lavender Castle was produced by Gerry Anderson (creator of Thunderbirds). So I think Lavender Castle is definitely... F.A.B!!! 😉

I love this theme so much, I listen to it quite often. Also, who else ships Roger and Lyca? I know I do!

That actually does kind of make sense since throughout the series the two have been at odds with one another such as Lyca getting annoyed with Roger pointing out the obvious it could be away that they were just trying to hide their feelings from each other in case if one of them were killed not wanting to cause grief for the other but mind you out of the rest of the crew of the paradox Lyca was definitely the closest to Sproggle though she acts more like a mother or big sister figure towards Sproggle

I had never heard of this show until recently. I would most likely find the stories silly and boring (I'm not it's target demographic) but I must say that the art design and stop motion animation is really excellent for a children's show.

I actually found out a few months ago that there was supposed to be a US dub of lavender castle and only two of the actors were confirmed apparently Lyca would have been voiced by the Talented Tara Strong and Short Fred Lead would have also if been voiced by Tim Curry a very talented British actor usually I find American dubs to British shows unnecessary but this us dub actually did seem interesting

I think they would have Agon be voiced by either The late Tony Jay or Michael Dorn if the us dub happened.

@@anthonyluetmer8499 and it's likely that they would have had Captain Thrice Voiced by William Shatner though I think they would have kept Rob Rackstraw as Isambard and Roger because usually when shows have an accent in the original dub they like they will keep it since isambard spoke with a Scottish accent in the original show and Roger had an Australian accent and it's possible they were thinking of keeping Jimmy Hibbert at squeaky since it's a voice that best suits his sort of character
