Hi Angie, yes you can use coconut oil, but I find sunflower oil better as it's more neutral with no smell (& cheaper!) Enjoy. Sof

+Tiffany Mcilveen no this is not an essential oil - it is an 'infused oil'. Essential oils are much stronger and are taken direct from the plant with no other oil added. best sof
