If you can get quilts, blankets, or other like items for really cheap, people, especially crafters, will buy them from you despite minimal to moderate damage. That is because they often repurpose them into Christmas stockings, smaller baby blankets, ornament items such as mittens, & a vast array of different things. The items don't even need to be antique or handmade to be appealing. Even those more recent prints & patterns are sought after as they may invoke a childhood memory of a long gone favorite "blankie." The minute I saw the Pottery Barn quilt, my mind started racing, thinking of all the cute things I could make from it. So sometimes you may need to think outside the box & see items for not just what they are, but what they could be. 😊 Out of all the channels I subscribe to, I love yours the most! ❤

I am a master basketmaker. The one with the curliques would have brought about $80 to $100 back in the day in my booth, when baskets were popular. Now that the trend has passed, I still think it's worth about $40. I don't know if you could find an Ebay buyer who would appreciate it. It's a shame. BTW, that basket would have taken quite a few hours to weave...around 7 to 8 hours. People don't realize this. I wish you hadn't put it back.

Hi Karen! I’m glad that you explained that you don’t go through every single item in the clothes section. It does take hours and I am not a reseller. I two go back-and-forth from the hard goods to the clothes just to make sure I’m not missing a treasure laying on the shelf. Thank you for pointing out what you buy and what brands as you always do. I do like Susan Graver items and they are quite expensive on the QVC channel. I don’t think there’s anything wrong with reselling her items! I was hoping you would pick up the cat because I would like to buy him he looks like my kitty. LOL. Did Roger buy the North face jacket that you found for him I like that also! Congrats also on your one year of dating Roger. You mentioned that a few videos ago and I forgot to tell you! 💖

If you were a reseller and had to measure each and every item, document where it was made, what it's made of, take , 8 pictures of each item and put it on and off of a Mannequin. Only to have to sit on it for a long time and then pay all of the fees to only to wind up up with a very small profit you would probably agree with her.

How many days per week do you go thrifting and approximately how many hours per week? Thrifting can be tiring and then when you get home the item has to be cleaned, photographed, etc. I’m just curious how you do it on this level. While I still love it all, it is a job, I do get tired and I want to balance it with family and home life. I’m 61 and have been reselling part time for 9+ years. I still love the thrill of the hunt. The Susan Graver blouse is beautiful!

Hey Miss Karen, would you consider a space at an antique or vintage 🛒 shoppe? Perhaps a small space; it doesn't have to be large but these big items that you're passing up are phenomenal and they're money makers in my unsolicited opinion.🐷🐖. I don't know how you feel about that or even if you have the time to deal with it. I have seen girls and guys run ebay, a second platform's plus a small space at a busy shoppe with booth space. As full of life as you are girl, you could nail it! You could even split a 20x20 with Roger. Customers would love to see his different type of merchandise and yours in the same booth. You'd have men and women AND teens swarming your booth. thing. Everyone's life is different and you know they fill it in with what's the most important and and a lot of it could be family or are just real commitment to your eBay store which by the way is 3,000+ items showing. Dang! Like that Chinese lacquered box or now the famous triple Pig stack. Oh my gosh that was the cutest thing ever. Your jokes are corny haha, but not as bad as mine. People gravitate to you. You make us all laugh. Thought I'd just passed that by I'm sure you've thought have it. Ciao

Oils from your hand damage art. Please don't rub your hands over art like that. You should be able to tell if it is a oil painting by looking at it in an angle. It will show some slightly raised areas. If you still can't tell by looking at it, running the back of your hand over the art at least has less oil on it.
