Comedies like these are CLASSIC. It seems today comedy shows are TRYING to be funny and it seems forced. Comedies like this from back in the day, were just naturally funny plus you had excellent writing and EXTREMELY talented actors and actresses to pull it off.

Comedy like this was classic, mainly because it didn't revolve around using negativity for humor. I mean, one character would be designated for that aspect, but not the entire cast! Notice how shows like this live on, way after their closing, while modern shows are easily forgettable. The suits need to quit calling the shots. If they wanna leave their mark behind so badly, they need to get out of the way, and let the talented actors/actresses do their magic.

Ahh man 'I think we have had the best of times from before Lucy,to laverne and shirley on american TV 'right through our British television comedy's, dramas,etc, doesn't it make you wonder ,British television is redundant, and young are being brainwashed,propaganda, xfactor,corrie,EastEnders, etc all sending a message to the sheep'' don't know if TV+ radio was ever like that''but when I was younger'tv was exciting interesting,funny and factual'''not now though no way'' in fact all of there fancy gimmicks,photography,sound,it means ziltch and I would say'' dangerous,to people ,with epileptic,fits, migraine etc,etc''
