The creator would be either Hajime Nishitani (Producer) or Seichi Ishii (original Tekken director) Harada only took over as producer of Tekken for Tekken 6, TTT2, Tekken 7, and Tekken 8. Before that he was assistant director for Tekken 5, main director for Tekken 4, and assistant director and designer for Tekken 3. Clearly Tekken was inspired by Virtua Fighter which is why Nishitani snagged Virtua Fighter designer Seichi Ishii to work on the first Tekken game and it's sequel. Harada is not even in the credits for Tekken 1, and only for a 'special thanks' towards the end of the credits for Tekken 2 (which also Sony PlayStation creator Ken Kutaragi also got). And he didn't have a big role in Tekken 3 either, as he was third in line of three directors. Seichi Ishii directed the first two Tekken's after designing Virtua Fighter, the. Left Namco to open up Dreamfactory studio and under Squaresoft, made Tobal No 1, Tobal 2, Ehrgeiz, and the best em up The Bouncer. Hajime Nishitani produced the first five Tekken games until Harada took over with Tekken 6.

Funny enough, the stance both he and his son Forest had since T3 has been replicated in some games. First there was WWE Smackdown Vs Raw with a stance for a created wrestler, then there was Liu Kang in MK Deception given a new yet similar stance. Both Laws set a norm for some JKD users at the time which is a very interesting thing to notice. Nowadays the stances surely have changed but we can't forget that classic one they had that stood out
