Your measuring by common standards, this was not your average family. We were made aware of our father's drugs, so we recognised them. Explained their purpose, importance and danger. Being open with the truth prevented curiosity from endangering. In the morning 9 year old me would read & open his bottles to set the tablets on a plate, which amused my parents - they thought I'd go on to a medical proffesion - in truth all I wanted was to ensure he took the correct dosage to keep him safe. 🤷 This girls father was consuming copious amounts she knew wasn't right, reckon he knew of her disapproval. Her father's temperament change due to steroid (rage) could not be ignored, it's toxic. All she wanted was a Dad.

If only we had the readings from the glucose meter N.C. supposedly used to monitor his blood sugar. She reported at one point that his blood sugar was 145. At the hospital it was in the 20s! What were the actual readings she was supposedly taking?
