What a very distinguished lady this judge was throughout this trial! Hopefully we can see more of her coming out of America! Let justice be served !

Has to be not guilty on murder and perhaps even the lesser included charge of manslaughter . Jury instructions included the defense of mistake of fact. If the jury believes a reasonable person would have mistook the victim’s apartment for the defendant’s apartment then mistake of fact removes the mens rea required for murder.

This was a secure building. One guy said he didn't lock his door when he walked his dog. She could have just KNOCKED on the door and waited outside in the well lit hall to see what happened. Burglary possible of course, but not likely.

I think it will be not guilty for murder, they showed no burden of proof of intent. Maybe, manslaughter charges. Looks like probation in the near future.

Sorry, usually the attorney has to prove w/o a shadow of a doubt. I dont think they did that. I may be wrong about the probation, but she is a police and you know how that goes. I'm not saying she is innocent I'm just basing my opinion on the law.

Lol minus the police part

Wendy dayz I see ; however once she pulled and used her gun she indeed intended to kill him! Her actions after the fact also speaks volumes! She had so many other options! The law is the law and its flawed when it doesn’t benefit the the people it’s supposed to protect!

@DanielBrown-rd3il she didn't even announce that she was an officer...she was off-duty...that should have been emphasized.
