For those who don’t want to watch the video here’s the breakdown: The Lawyer for X’s killer wants a re-trial. He states that at first the judge was agreeing to letting him bring Drake in as a possible suspect / witness and other possible rappers as well. This was to help shift the blame from X’s killer to other people and possibly gain a lighter sentence. Though the lawyer states that while in the process of trying to get Drake into the court the judge did a “180” and said he didn’t want drake in court as a witness anymore. The lawyer says this was not fair and led to an unfair trial and that Drake and the other rappers should have testified. The lawyer made an appeal for a retrial with Drake this time though.
